Hey everyone, sorry I've been so absent. Everything's actually going pretty well but the past 18 months of caregiving and other personal things have just gotten me out of the habit of being at the com

Most impressive thing there was Cole running with his eyes up. Impressive for a rookie.

Obvious now more than ever that Dalton needs to be the odd man out at QB.

Hurts, McKee and Payton for the final 53.

Nah, Wentz.

I don't see it. Only Hurts. Agree to disagree lol

It does feel like a much lesser version of Wentz’s debut a little bit. Moves at a different speed than the 2 guys ahead of him (I mean it’s Andy Dalton and Tanner McKee, but still…). Intriguing.

Yup.

He looks composed given it’s his first NFL action and he was dealing with chaotic situations.

Obviously it’s early, but I think we might have something there.

Payton for QB2!

Do you remember the days when Tanner Brady was about to be crowned as the heir apparent here after beating the New York Football Giants in scrub duty? A step above Carson Strong at least. So the QB evaluators in here have at least made some progress.

Phillies outscored the Eagles tonight. Embarrassing.

The eagles with Siri mostly just care about practice. Im not sure I wanna watch next game.

Ezukanma just had the best kick return I have seen in an eagles uniform since Allen Rossum and Brian Mitchell. He actually looked fast and explosive.

How dare you neglect the legend of Josh Huff.

Well Cole has been hanging out with hurts it seems. Running OOB for a sack.

Kid had some juice though. Definite athletic ability. Probably worth keeping around to see if he can develop to replace mckee next yr

The starters may take a few weeks to really click but with the full book will do well. It will also take time for him to adapt to the starters and determine what they do well and how to use them. It may be bumpy but it will look good.

I’ve always viewed it this way, their first 6 to 7 weeks there’s gonna be growing pains. There’s gonna be ups and there’s gonna be downs. You how by week 8 to the end of the season you see consistent growth and an upward trajectory.

Absolutely nothing was learned tonight. No need to panic. We know their approach to the preseason.

Whatever you thought of the team before camp started, you should think no better and no worse of them now.

That said, we knew their depth on offense sucks outside of Tank Bigsby and Fred Johnson. They’ve got a bunch of old fixtures on big contracts and they haven’t invested the draft picks, playing time, or developmental emphasis on anyone behind them. The personnel they put out there tonight was completely unfit to move the ball against any defense…and the coaches know that. Pure fodder.

Positive side i thought Markel bell looked good.

I think they have some legit backups on OL now. The issue was the QB play was bad and the offense was vanilla. The injuries at receiver made them get to deep backups pretty quickly as well. But they stunk. We know it’s meaningless based on the past but still annoying to watch

The King Pt 2

Dalton basically blames Mannion and his offense for the struggles.
