Wow. Just learned that a commercial sunday ticket package costs $12,000. A place here is no longer offering it because its become too expensive.

Campbell was drafted a year after Trotter, and the 5th year option can be used, so he is technically under control through the end of the 2029 season.

Howie was on an incredible first round streak, but I suspect Campbell and Lemon will end up in the meh category.

Dean played at an exceptional level. Dean was also a fantastic blitzer. Campbell had some flashes especially in coverage but he also had rookie mistakes. He had some pretty big highlight type plays. His physical traits showed up on the field. He had several passes defended. He chased down receivers in open field in pursuit. He chased down Justin Jefferson when he broke a tackle and caught from behind. He was a solid tackler.

Reporters ask such dumb leading questions. You made a mistake, did you learn from it? Was it fun? Were you nervous?

Instead ask open-ended questions that invite more thoughtful answers: What was it like stepping into a game for the first time? What did you learn about yourself tonight? What are your emotions like after playing your first game? What do you plan to work on in the coming weeks?

It's not because he's an international player, they do this with every interview.

I think the Eagles offensive success will come down to how effective they are at spreading the ball and workload around. Devonta Smith, Barkley, and Goedert will be used a lot, but how well Mannion and Hurts incorporate Lemon, Wicks, Stowers and Bigsby into the offense will tell a lot.

I’ve even heard national reporters comment on Bigsby being underutilized last year. I’d prefer see him and Barkley get the same workload in the first half of games, then Barkley used to finish games off.

It was cool when Barkley would have like 45 first half yards and you knew he was about to have 120 more coming in the 2nd half.

He WAS on a killer run, having said that- the last 2 drafts are not looking good for Howie.

Mannion was trash in his first stint as a play caller. We had a lot of penalties doing the easy stuff. Obviously we weren't watching starters play, but we weren't playing against starters either and we were dominated --- and not because of poor O-line play.

What was cute? Last year eight of our 10 selections were day 3 picks (including three 5ths and four 6ths). Our 1st two picks are starters. This year we needed to address WR, TE, and OT and we did and in the order of immediate urgency. Nothing really "cute" about it.

I watched that pre-season game for free on DAZN and was looking for a refund. A waste of time

They’re starters out of necessity. That’s like saying Steen is a starter. Well yeah, because we don’t have a better option. But it’s not like Campbell and Makuba has shown much.

A lot of people gave up on nakobe Dean after the first 2 years now those same people are crying that he is gone...Point being, not every player is going to stand out or play up to their abilities in the first year or 2.

From everything I've read on Willie Lampkin is that on paper he absolutely doesn't look like he should be out there based on his size, even when you see him in person. Once you see him play, its a completely different story. I think we all saw that in action on Saturday.

I think Makuba showed a lot of promise before injury. I honestly thought Campbell did too though before they switched him out for Dean.

Yep. That size thing could get some coaches fired if that’s what they go by. He’s a hair shorter than Jason Kelce and 20+ pounds heavier than Aaron Donald when he played.

Context is key too. The past 2 drafts have prioritized guys that are future starters, not immediate impact players. Dean/Baun was a top tier ILB combo and they still drafted Campbell. Stowers has sky high upside de but is still learning the position. They took Mukuba a year before letting Blankenship walk. They've drafted multiple developmental OL prospects anywhere from round 3 (Bell) to 7 (Williams). 2 separate backup QB projects in McCord and Payton. Robinson seems like a bust but he was drafted with 3 high end DTs ahead of him. Not to mention the international guys.

McWilliams, not so much. Ringo, meh. I'd need to watch Hinton more to make a definitive judgment but at first glance, no. Mondon, nah. (It's looking like our '25 day three draft was a total washout.)

Payton was exciting but looked light years away from being an actual quarterback. He bailed at every opportunity, constantly looked to run, and made some horrific decisions with the ball. He's a playmaker, I'll give him that so in a way I'm sort of encouraged.

They forced the ball to Stowers a bunch but he was never really open and was unable to do much.

I was mostly pleased with Underwood (the LS) until I saw the PAT in the final minutes. That was a really bad snap. PATs have to be automatic from a process standpoint. You simply can't have your holder reaching dramatically for the ball. I think I'm already "out" on him.

I've seen enough awful preseason games over the years to know how to keep things in perspective, so I'm not even remotely panicking. But that was not a good game to watch.

Really they are unwatchable games these days. 20 years ago you could enjoy a quarter and then watch some of the rookies and enjoy about a half. The only thing I are about these days is not getting someone injured who is actually being counted on to play.

He's almost 5 full inches shorter than Kelce and I don't think Donald was 250-270lbs when he played

He's an easy guy to root for and he certainly plays above his size. It's still weird to see though. It was like seeing an O-line version of Darren Sproles out there. I think he's earned a spot on the team but I would still be nervous seeing him in real games against better competition. Vita Vea and Dexter Lawrence would have 60+ pounds on him. The good thing is there isn't many dominate IDL that size anymore.
