Mexico City game day environment would be a blast though. Absolute logistical nightmare, and makes little sense to do for the sport, but Estadio Azteca is an absolutely wild when packed.

Yeah, I’m looking forward to the new stadium down here. I’m an Eagles fan forever, but I’m looking forward to attending Jaguar games in the new stadium. The renderings look great. It might be one of the nicest stadiums in the NFL when it opens.

I would have driven up from Vero to go to the game this year if they weren't playing in London. Next year they are playing in Miami, so I'll definitely attend that one.

I've been saying this for a while, the NFL has a very easy "fix" to all these international games without having to reallocate one team:

• Expand to 19 weeks of regular season (2 byes per team)

• Every team has to play one game abroad (that way you don't have an uneven number of home and away games)

• One of your bye weeks comes after the international game

It's a win anyway you see it. The NFL has its extra week, but the players don't have to play one more game. There's no advantage for anyone with extra home games. Everyone has to travel and the league keeps expanding internationally.

Yes 18 games with 2 byes makes the season longer by 2 TV weeks and more money for the league which does go to players as well

The NFL really doesn't have the luxury of extending the season too much further without risking the health of its players. The Super Bowl is now in the middle of February...these players need adequate recovery time and offseason.

still don’t know why they haven’t shifted to all bye weeks occur during week 8 or 9. Hell if they want to expand, you move the pro bowl to week 9, add a week and split the bye’s 8/9 or 9/10. Every team gets 2 consecutive weeks off…the pro ball/all star break has more pizzaz and meaning. Fantasy football, the money maker for the NFL is in full swing. It would be so much more entertaining and meaningful. Fan voting…your early season wonders get their moment in the sun. Move the SB up a week to account for the move of the Pro Bowl. That only makes too much sense though.

The problem with the Jaguars is the number of transplants that live in NE Florida (myself included). My neighborhood has a bunch of folks from the Philly area. A total of 5 families. We get together to watch the Eagles and Phillies. Just because we moved here, that doesn't mean we're going to stop rooting for the teams we grew up with.

In our development, there are tons of folks from the Northeast. Nobody was born and raised here. Lots of Patriots, Eagles, Giants, Steelers, and Bears fans here. It's really a shame, but folks down here root for the teams they grew up with. They don't root for the Jaguars.

University of Florida football team does seem as popular as the Jaguars when it comes to the native, local folks. But again, lots of transplants here that root for the teams they grew up with (myself included).

Last ten years:

NY -> FL: 50,000 to 90,000 per year

NJ -> FL: 25,000 to 45,000 per year

PA -> FL: 25,000 to 35,000 per year

MA -> FL: 15,000 to 20,000 per year

I lived in Valdosta for 7 years…the amount of bar fights i saw over Gator/Dawgs/Noles hats is ridiculous.
