Being an NFL team publicist must be a Fing nightmare. The political crap aside, imagine being on call 24/7 for when a CTE riddled star WR tweets out that the earth is flat and the chinese control the weather.

Big if true.

Hard not to praise the best QB in franchise history when at just 27 years old and 5 years starting he has taken the Eagles to the playoffs every season, won the NFC Championship twice, outplayed Mahomes in the Super Bowl twice, won the Super Bowl, won Super Bowl MVP, has been named All-Pro, placed 2nd in MVP voting due to injury while deserving to win it and won the NFC East two times in a row to be the first team to do that in over 20 years in the division. All the while playing musical chairs with OCs which included most recently the worst OC in the NFL and for the Eagles this century.

I wanted to quantify this era in Eagles history so I went through all the years of Eagles football dating back to the creation of the franchise. I would say the best era in Eagles football was 1947-1949. Second, I'd probably lean towards the last five years. Just because we had two SB appearances and a Lombardi. The only other massively successful era is 2001-2006. Five division titles in 6 years, our best run of the division. Outside of that, you have lightning in a bottle with Pederson (2017), Cunningham (1988) and Jaworski (1980).

Defensively, there have been some amazing defenses. What made the 47' -49' era so special was the pairing of, historically, the best offense with the best defense. Averaging 30 points per game will giving up 10-12 on average. You'd have to go with the Jim Johnson era next. The last two years with Vic? 9th and 10th respectively. The early 80's and early 90's were some powerhouse defenses. For Fangio to have back to back top 10 performances is absolutely amazing.

Obviously, 47'-49' was a completely different era. 48' had 9 teams and 49' had 12. I think it's important for context but comparing them to the modern NFL is difficult. I just thought it was interesting and wanted to shed light on how dominant those teams were.

The best PR when it comes to social media is to ignore the problem and it'll go away. I think people, businesses, and organizations are finally learning, but it's well proven that damage control and apology statements are the worst and most destructive things you can do.

Let the mouthbreathers get their little temper tantrums out and they'll move on to the next thing because those people are perpetually outraged 24/7.

For those that can’t put politics aside, remember to hate all these people, too.

Not even close to the same thing and there is nothing political about hating a pedophile/rapist. Enough with this crap.

Fangio also said they didn't ask him about OL coach Chris Kuper at first. During the interview process they realized they coached on the same team together and then asked his thoughts.

Politics & sports: it's difficult when players talk politics and sports news covers it, it's going to generate discussion.

Just don't attack each other for political views, take that to CVON political section.

You idiots got the mods involved.

The idea that the Eagles and Patriots are going to resume negotiations post June 1st is weird. There's no rule preventing them from negotiating right now.

C'VON, man...

Wrong.

Just getting ahead of the inevitable.

Yah, this really doesn't make sense. I get they can't "agree" right now, but they can absolutely have a framework (and obviously do).

The more you pass, your completion percentage goes down. Hurts is 50th in attempts per game in the playoffs.

Dak Prescott is just under 65% in the playoffs, while throwing 10 more passes per game.

Nick Foles has the highest playoff completion percentage, while throwing 6 more passes per game.

I don't hate him. I just don't think he's the greatest QB like you do

Rtk must have a Lil Kim stomach with all the QB1 gobbling he does

Don't bring up Foles. RTK is going to wish he falls down a flight of stairs and gets injured

You guys really are 😉

Nothing political in that post. He's right. If you're a mediocre player with a proclivity for concussions, pissing off half your fan base/locker room probably isn't the best idea. Didn't work out great for Kaep either if we want to "both sides" this. Meanwhile Saquon golfed with the guy and we all forgot. Talent talks.

Introducing the president isn’t a crime just because your side lost. I support the president. Deal with it.

Trumpers are about to become Giants fans. I mean them and the media still love LT despite his clear love of 16 year old hookers
