Big Dom is MAGA. We didn't hear much because people didn't want to disappear.

I think people who are left-leaning politically would be disappointed to find out the political association of most of their favorite athletes on their favorite teams, specifically 90% of Phillies players.

Kyle McCord was an eligible Nasty Nate. Didn't really do anything but look bad in training camp but he represented the hope that many here had for a non Jalen Hurts drafted QB and many here were confident that he would make the roster, even after his horrific preseason performances.

Nice to see the paid off media getting called out and losing this war of delivering fake news. You will start to see the pendulum swing on that front, with conservatives not being scared to give their public opinion. I think we are all over that BS of being muted. Know someone who is personal friends with Bobby Kennedy and I get lots of info regarding the media and how that is shaping up with this administration. It's a pleasure to watch.

He's really suffering with his jersey flying off shelves.

Be serious though nobody was saying he was Nasty Nate last year. The guy was hyped because of Cam and the fun nickname. He made the team and looks like a bust. That's it.

Wrong. Baldinger said he would replace Milton Williams and be better. People were gushing over his 40 time.

There were articles like this saying Watt 2.0

https://collegefootballnetwork.com/eagles-steal-nebraska-monster-ty-robinson-jj-watt-2-0/

Or like this that he was a steal of the draft

The Philadelphia Eagles could have a steal on their hands with their rookie, who CBS Sports expects to be an impactful player in 2025.

Just google "Ty Robinson steal of draft” and see how many articles and videos come up about laughable expectations.

Has to be mentioned in camp the summer of their rookie year not the following May

He was mentioned beyond plenty in summer of 2025. Which is why I said he was last years Nasty Nate. Him coming up now has nothing to do with anything.

We can finally say this is our last week of hearing about a possible AJ Brown trade. It either happens next Monday, or we move on.

I know it'll be the pats, but deep down I wish it was the Jags or Browns

There was a "report" that the league asked them to wait to announce for a couple weeks so it doesn't appear they had a trade waiting. They probably don't want to set a precedent.

Just in case it doesn't happen right away, set expectations.

Albert Breer joins a Patriots market radio show to discuss the pending AJ Brown trade.

RTK will really enjoy the last couple of minutes where Breer trashes Hurts’ personality and cred in the locker room:

Right!! MAGA is a cult, I've been told. When Hurts spent time with Obama, it didn't bother me one bit. As Barkley did the same with hanging out with Trump. Don't care about the politics of athletes, entertainers etc. And those who have a problem with Dart, need to take some of this.

I believe Howie made this deal already and there's no coming back from it. It's a gentleman's agreement and he has to honor it, regardless of what other potential offers come thru. It's also about the player and the agent not getting duped in doing something different than originally discussed. Brown wants to be a Patriot. Clear as day! He's about to make bank with an extension. This is complex. Howie could ask the Patriots to sweeten the pot a little, if there's a large variance with other late offers, but that's about it. My final call here is a conditional 1st rounder in 2028 and Boutte to Eagles and a 4th rounder going back to Patriots. Eagles could then easily flip Boutte later for a 4th if need be. There has been a framework set up here a long time ago to allow both franchises to proceed with the draft and offseason without any hesitation or angst.

I hope this leads to the NFL allowing post June 1st designation trades. I honestly can’t think of a reason why it’s not allowed already.

Politics has Eagle fans defending Giant players. What have we become?

I feel like this year there have been a lot of "steal of the draft” claims made by sports writers/analysts, even an article or two regarding UDFAs promoted as elite talents. Possibly a result of lesser talent than typically seen in the draft class? IDK.

It literally hasn’t been anyone but Nate because people want to put a million qualifiers on something simple like a guy hyped in the offseason that doesn’t do anything in the regular season.

Ty Robinson is the 2025 NN. He was a pick outside of the top 100, he had an outlandish nickname given to him before his first OTA and some pundits said he would step in and be just as good as Milton Williams. And all he did was play half his snaps in a meaningless week 18 game and still didn’t do anything in those snaps.

I’m gonna agree with the guy who hates black people on this one. You can make a million qualifiers for it, but the only one that really matters is he has to miss the 53 man roster in a surprise for TATE

I’m not going to argue about it anymore. I think all the rules are stupid and go against the idea of what it should be. There’s only one Nate Ilaoa and the chance of it happening again to a T are slim. It should be like the Biletnikoff award or any award named from someone. It’s not about checking every single box or being better or worse than the originator. It should be who fits the criteria the closest. The fact that no one even mentions previous "winners” shows how dead this award this.

The league cannot insert themselves that way if they want to maintain any semblance of integrity

You figure Big Dom knew about the Nolan Smith arrest as soon as it happened but helped Nolan and the Eagles keep it from public for nearly a week while they figured things out.

In a situation like that, who finds out when Big Dom finds out? Roseman? Roseman and Lurie? Is Sirianni included in that early circle? The fact that it is even a question leads more to my theory that Big Dom is more important and has a larger amount of power and control in the organization than Sirianni.

Funny but not from OTAs. No team is going full pads and 11 on 11s in OTAs. That is an old video the guy posted and he is duping many.

I think most people that consider people who loathe this regime "left leaning” aren’t using the term correctly.

Politics is big government vs small government.

Something a lot of Americans are very much in the middle on.

What we currently have is either you’re ok with horrific criminality from the worst humans on Earth or you aren’t. No politics involved.

The guy went on stage, tried to do a NYG chant and then said nothing other than it was an honor and a privilege there before he introduced the President. The most non-nothing ever.
