Picks that high aren't NN eligible. He was overhyped and I wouldn't be shocked if he was cut. I forgot he was on the team as well.

He was a 4th round pick. He wasn’t that high.

Like I said people drafted that high aren't NN eligible. NN was historically for UDFA.

I liked Robinson in college, but wasn't a fan of the pick because of his age, I hate drafting older players.

He'll improve. That DT draft class was pretty deep and almost all of the DTs that came out last year ended up disappointing. DTs start off notoriously slow. Walter Nolen(who I wanted) was looking good before he got hurt, but he battled injuries all year. Kenneth Grant and Derrick Harmon looked solid. Aside from that, Tyleik Williams, TJ Sanders, Alfred Collins, Shemar Turner and others didn't really stand out. Mason Graham looked decent, but not top 5 pick decent. I liked TJ Sanders a lot in college, interested to see if he's better in year two. Want to see what Nolen looks like healthy as well. DTs take a while to come around.

I fully expect Carter's extension to get done before the season.

Eagles player review: iDL Ty Robinson edition

It wasn't pretty last year for Robinson. Hopefully he out in some serious work in the off-season

No idea what will happen for Robinson but its a good reminder when people talk about floor and ceiling it's all lazy nonsense. The floor is always nothing and the ceiling is very high even for guys like Kurt Warner or Brock Purdy who on paper look limited

These rules are stupid. Nate wasn’t even an UDFA

Yeh I saw this yesterday. Crazy isn’t it? My nephew was a receivers coach there up until two years ago. He’s coaching at Rockwall Heath now. Another nephew is the HC at LV Spring Hill, and yet another one coaches in AR.

I also came across an online article/post about the stadiums in Collin County. I’ll try and find it quite ridiculous really with all the growth.

This guy was one of the biggest nasty nate candidates in years. I routinely forget he’s even on the roster still.

We all got fooled by a great nickname. "Vanilla Gorilla" is top tier.

Take it up with management. Historically it was an UDFA. Usually a WR.

It literally hasn’t been anyone but Nate because people want to put a million qualifiers on something simple like a guy hyped in the offseason that doesn’t do anything in the regular season.

Ty Robinson is the 2025 NN. He was a pick outside of the top 100, he had an outlandish nickname given to him before his first OTA and some pundits said he would step in and be just as good as Milton Williams. And all he did was play half his snaps in a meaningless week 18 game and still didn’t do anything in those snaps.

Richie, how about that Hank Baskett?!

I appreciate your commitment to acting like this is an actual thing

I don't even feel Ty Robinson got that much hype last year on here. No more than any other rookie. Of the "secondary" picks and UDFAs Darius Cooper got the most hype I'd say. He didn't have much chance for playing time, but when he did he was pretty meh. Had a critical mistake week 18. I think he and Moore will be fighting for a roster spot.

And if the Brown trade ends up going down and if it includes Boutte I wonder if Cooper will even make the team. I'd like to say yes, but not super confidently. In that scenario Devonta, Lemon, Wicks are locks. Hollywood is close to a lock because he's the only true vertical threat on the team and you need someone who can stretch the field sometimes. Boutte unless reflipped in another trade would be close to a lock. So that's 5 already. Then it's between Moore, Cooper, Wilson. I'd give Cooper a slight edge, but we'll see. Sirianni likes Wilson for some reason.. I guess his blocking, Wilson is terrible.

As an aside, if the Brown trade goes down and Lemon doesn't come out of the gate really impressive, WR is going to be pretty Fing terrible next season, I'll plant my flag on that take pretty early.

Good call. He also didn’t have enough vowels next to each other in his name

Nasty Nate: Has to be late 7th round pick or UDFA. Has to be a rookie. Has to be over hyped beyond belief that’s never happened besides one time. Usually a WR. Can’t make the roster. If he makes one tackle he’s ineligible.

Be serious though nobody was saying he was Nasty Nate last year. The guy was hyped because of Cam and the fun nickname. He made the team and looks like a bust. That's it.

Has to be mentioned in camp the summer of their rookie year not the following May
