Oh no don't worry I can decipher absolutely fine thanks. Don't forget that you are speaking the ENGLISH language!

The point remains you want Eagles to remain and continue to play poorly so you can hear what his apologists have to say. That's wanting Wentz to play badly so you can say "I told you so".

If he goes somewhere else and sucks the loser could still rub ii in Wentz followers faces. He's just too dumb to figure that out.

I tell you what... You think what you want to think. Everyone else seems to be able to see through you so lets just leave it there. CAPEESH?

Wouldn't be as much fun for him though would it! What is it Alfred says... "Some people just want to see the world burn".

so, I think everyone can guess....they are ADAMANT about a 1st coming back...because they want one of the QBs...in fact I even saw one mock draft where Justin Fields dropped to 6th and Howie took him
so it begs the question....at what point do they say "We're not going to get what we want"..

when / if that times comes..
what happens?

do they keep Wentz and try to fix him as has been the narrative?

Do they take the best offer, and cut losses  (and still draft a QB at #6 to the severe ire of the fan base)

First, mock drafts mean absolutely nothing.  Some blogger posts a mock draft or some writer even for a reputable website...they're trying to get clicks and they sometimes put out unexpected picks to get attention.  It's barstool talk.  Can you imagine if the Eagles picked a QB?  Clicks, comments, attention.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, but you can't use it as some "evidence" for what the Eagles are thinking.

Second, it's certainly possible if the cards fall a certain way.  They get a great offer for Wentz that includes a 1st where they can get another (hopefully) quality player in the draft.  They still have Hurts on a rookie contract so it's not expensive.  It's an RG3/Cousins type situation where you have 2 young QBs.  They fight for the starting spot and if both are good once again you have trade capital (a QB factory!).

Roseman and Sirianni have to get on the same page about the direction of the roster.  Nick and his staff hopefully are devouring film and planning for what they want to do.  Some people believe Nick was hired to "fix" Wentz.  Some believe he was hired to coach Hurts.  And some believe he was hired to adjust to either, or potentially a different QB altogether.  With rumors and speculation it's hard to tell until we just see what happens.  When the dust settles from rumors, what do they actually do?  No one thought they'd take a QB so high last year and here we are.

He doesn't though. He is already down to number 8 by the end of this coming season and more contracts being given he won't even be in the top 10 anymore.

This is more of a statement of how bent out of shape people get over QB contracts that end up not being that great after a few years.

Hell Matthew Stafford was the highest paid QB at one time and so was Matt Ryan and Stafford isn't even in the top 10 anymore and Ryan is at #10.

He doesn’t even deserve top ten pay. For what? A season that was 4 years ago?

All I can say is I find it amusing for someone to tell me what I meant, only one person knows what I meant and it ain't you.

The funniest part is that UK isn't an apologist. Nor am I. I just hope whichever direction they go in, it is the correct decision and managed well.

I would agree no legit Eagles fan can want the team to fail so they can be proven right. Just like no true legit Eagles fan could want Carson to go and succeed elsewhere and stick it to the Eagles. Do I wish him the best (if he is traded)? Absolutely. It would be good for him if he can turn it around but not at the expense of the Eagles.

Those are two different topics.

I haven't seen anybody say the hoped that happened.  Some have said that it certainly could.  I hope Carson is super successful at the next stop, but the Eagles will have made the choice.  This isn't different than Nick or any other successful Eagles player that moves on.  If that comes back to haunt us all, that is the risk that the FO takes by disposing of him.   I certainly hope he never personally beats us after, but it could happen if we are ever on the same competitive level.

So what you are saying is that you meant something different to what you wrote.

There is no "I told you so" nor is there any Wentz hate.

If you've noticed, whenever Wentz would have a horrible game, you didn't see me write critical posts of his play because I clearly saw what was going on and it wasn't all on Wentz.

The only thing I've pointed out concerning Wentz was his accuracy and I've always done that because I've always saw that it isn't anything to write home about.

The most critical post I recall writing was something along the lines of "Is is fair to begin to questioning Wentz' intelligence, I'm beginning to think it is".

Lastly, I wish Wentz the best where ever he lands as Wentz and I are "spiritual brothers" if you know what I mean.

I'm sorry that you feel guilty with my response to UK about posters wanting the team to lose for an "I told you so" moment, but that is very real theory played out here everyday.

Again, proven right about what?

Moreover, just as I find it amusing for someone to tell me what I meant, I find it equally amusing for someone to tell anyone what team they're a fan of, that's just simply crazy.

You see, I'm a mature, when the Eagles lose, I don't get upset and let it ruin my day or week, that's childish.  To me it's an opportunity to voice my opinion as to what the team needs to do to improve.

I don't walk back anything, I always stand by that I write, you simply gravitated to what wasn't the subject of the sentence, namely Wentz apologists.

I just took what you wrote at face value.   And you can't blame us for thinking you were being a typical negative Eagles fan - willing to see the season go down in flames to have the last word.  Moving on.

I'm not a Wentz guy either.  I think they have to bite the bullet this season, take what they can get before March 19th to get that cap charge off the books and see what Hurts can do with an offseason program and a full training camp.  At worst they have #6 and maybe Fields will slip or they can get Trask on Day  2.  (PFF has the Eagles trading up to 3rd to take Fields).

I think I finally agree with you ... although I'm not sure what I got out of what you said is what you really meant.  Nevertheless, I agree with what you typed.

It's pretty simple. The Eagles don't view Carson as the loser troublemaking cancer that the haters do or he would be gone by now.

Or the rest of the league does view him that way, and that’s why they aren’t willing to even give up a first round pick for him.

If he was what the fanboys believe he is, I’m sure Reich could convince Ballard to up the Colts offer to get a deal done. The fact that they’re really not willing to give much up, when they currently don’t even have a QB, tells me that Reich himself likely isn’t convinced that Wentz is the answer.

Nah, there have been offers made, they could get rid of him but they are choosing to hold out for what they want. You trade cancers for what you can get

This..and if he (Wentz) wasn't a problem...why would they be looking to trade him in the first place?..Wouldn't they squash the chatter and rumors and declare with finality that Wentz is not going anywhere?

He's not getting traded. He doesn't even want to be traded. This is all the Philly fans and Philly sports media running him out of town. Poor Carson, such a victim.

Maybe they just like Hurts better.

God help him if he is holding this up to get to the Colts, despite the better offer being from Chicago.

He's going to get booed out of the building whenever he finds his way back here (if he's still in the league by the time fans are allowed back at home games).

Have they made the trade yet?
