It's gotten off to a bad start, but I still believe in the player when healthy. He just needs to get healthy, but when he is he's very good. The health stuff is unpredictable. This isn't some out of nowhere run of bad injury luck for him. He's been injury prone his entire career and is now quickly approaching 30. This health stuff was entirely predictable and won't suddenly get better next year once he is 30.

The 2 without experience Siri promoted from within rather than interview experienced outside guys. The sell was supposed to be consistency.Mannion is an outside hire with no experience because they scrambled to change schemes and went with someone they thought was an up and coming NFL coach with good ideas, and they hired other offensive assistants with more experience to aid him.

I think he was more of a valuable commodity to them on the field than what they were likely to receive. I tend to think it’s a 3rd rounder the eagles ask for. Maybe conditions on it
1 hour ago1 hr Greenard is pretty predictable. He has played 13 games or less in 4 out of 6 seasons in his career. Probably will repeat this impressive stat again this year. He's like Goedert on defense, where you pretty much know he won't play a full season in what is a rotational position. Not acceptable. Howie takes the bait and gives up the farm and excessive money. This is like the Jurgens trade Howie just made, but in reverse. Where we got taken to the cleaners here. Jurgens looked good just a year and a half ago. But he's trash now at age 27. Should have just kept Sweat then, who is same age as Greenard. Howie's been spinning his wheels in many positions, giving up draft choices to correct errors and has also overrated his drafted talent. All the errors are coming to roost right now.

More so than what their record will be. Lurie loses sleep over this crap more than he does for just having a bad record.

I don't think he's done a whole lot this year to change peoples minds.I think he’s played significantly better this year, but Howie getting a 2 for Jurgens has warped people’s minds. I’d be equally stunned if we somehow get a 2 for Woolen, even if we’re attaching our expected comp 3 for him.

They dealt with some injuries at corner that year and frankly their corners weren’t nearly as good as what they eagles now have. Furthermore, in 2018 they had a bunch of injuries. They had guys off the street. They brought in who wound up being competent players to the point that that defense by the end of the year was at least playing at a high enough level that they had chances in both of the playoff games. Against offenses that were good that year.Like the fact of the matter is Jim Schwartz had a solid defense with the Browns. The Browns offense was so bad like ours now it skewed the defense. But analytically they still held up really well. Nothing wrong with Jim Schwartz. I love fangio and prefer him but Schwartz is also fine if Fangio retires.
