October 23Oct 23 That Howie reaction on the sidelines to the Jaguars game ending was a statement, IMO. Especially with Sirianni. That's when the wheels started spinning in his head with this plan for this season and beyond. He was more than PO'd, knowing that his coach failed him and this season is kaput. Last weekend confirmed it for him. And the Hurts ordeal was the final nail for this season and a plan to move forward.

So he's released the 2nd day of the league year but as a designated post June 1 for cap purposes.Downside is since it is technically a release, he doesn't count towards comp pick formula.

I think Cowboys come in heavily motivated, while I think Eagles packed it in last week after that Jaguars stinker. They have spiraled into oblivion. There was at least a 50/50 chance they were never gonna recover from that Jags game. Just the way they lost. The fire has dimmed. There is no Sirianni magic or rah rah BS that's gonna help this cause. Sirianni is helpless and can do nothing right now. Not a good enough coach to compensate for lack of talent. That's evident.
