@EaglePhan1986 I had Chipotle for lunch less than 35 minutes ago, and I had to absolutely race to the toilet with no seconds to spare. Speaking of, I have my first colonoscopy coming up. It was cheaper to do it through Craig's list, so I responded to an ad by "Dr. Buttstuff," and personally asked not to be sedated and for no numbing agent. I couldn't find the address on google maps, but he asked me to bring flowers and candy. Kind of strange, but you can never be too careful, right Captain Cornhole?

Just wait until the night before. You’ll be on the toilet the whole time. Thankfully @Godfather will be there giving out blumpkins

I remember some of the worst Eagles teams ever and rooting for the only wins of the season vs the cowboys. Just beat the cowboys.

People in here rooting for the cowboys to win is wild. Fans have gotten soft.

Rooting for the cowballs should be a bannable offense.

Cowgirls gonna win the division at 8-9. Man if the smoke us monday this should be the end of sirianni. Especially if they get wrecked on Lurie's big night

8-9 won the NFCS last year, I am thinking 7-10 wins it like @LacesOut said. I think the Giants win it with a better division record with the tie against WAS. Harbaugh is prob the best, or at least the most consistent and experienced coach in the division IMO. The way they just ran through DAL in the opening week spoke volumes of how far ahead of DAL they are at the coaching level (gameplan and preparation). I am having trouble finding more than 5 wins remaining on the schedule for DAL. Even of those 5 DAL always seems to play down to their opponents level, see TB outcome. DAL will finish the division with a 3-3 record.

Possible wins

ARI has had their number for a few years now

IND road game

TEN

PHI (in DAL on Thanksgiving win for the season split)

NYG (likely win for the season split, home game)

Likely losses

PHI this weekend

SF

SEA road game

LAR road game

JAC

WAS road game (last game of the season, they lose for the split, especially if it is a must win game)

jojo, on point again with that post.

Now, I do think we'll get smoked in each of the next 3 games, SO I think they fire Siri at the Bye week and make the DLineman Coach the HC.

Siri has earned the right to coach through the end of the season. He’ll get canned on Monday the day after the last regular season game.

Mannion should have been fired this past Monday.

Patriots fans and media are getting disgusted with AJ Brown.

Either we beat Dallas and Dak, OR we accelerate the rebuild. Win either way.

Didn’t AJ miss like 4 games though??

Not here to defend AJ. He helped us get a SB win, so I’ll like him for that. But his other "stuff” required him to leave.

Some like to ignore facts

The days of pocket passing QBs are probably done with Stafford. Allen is the next closest thing but he even relies on his legs to make plays. Look at who has come out the last 5 years. Purdy is the best of them and he's in the right system with the right coach and was a 7th round pick. Outside of him you have the Youngs and CJs. We'll see what Williams becomes but having Johnson as a coach sure does help. He even made Goeff look good. People are spoiled and think any guy can step in and be better. Again, the Ravens, Lions, Texans, and Cowboys prove otherwise. Hurts has flaws. So do most QBs these days.

Tbf Goff looks hella good this year lol

The 2025 Bills led the league in rushing with 2,714 yards, and had the league's leading rusher in James Cook with 1,621 yards. Yes, both were less than the 2024 Eagles (just over 3,000 yards and Barkley over 2,000), but Allen had the best rushing attack in the NFL and got bounced by Bo Nix in the division round because he couldn't protect the football.

Not saying Jalen is better than Allen...just saying this idea Josh carried the team is a little crazy. He didn't have AJ and Smitty, but he had a great rushing attack and the 7th ranked defense.

Allen’s playing style is conducive to "carrying the team.”

I say that as a criticism. I don’t think the pass catching talent he had to work with ever remotely compared to what Hurts has enjoyed (or his OL), but I also don’t think Allen would have been so much better if he had that. Hes not a precise passer. In many ways, he’s just Hurts with a lot more physical talent and more of a gunslinger approach.

Precision, timing, and progressions are not a huge part of his game. I’m not sure if he’d have done more to unlock the precision of Devonta Smiths game, for example. I hate to say it, but a qb like Purdy might be the best fit for Devonta.

I agree and cannot stomach Dallas winning. There is no real tanking in the NFL as a strategy to improve. Look at how well the Giants and Browns have done with multiple high first round draft picks year after year. They stink and continue to stink.

Both lead their division tho

They’re both leading their divisions!

…………

thought I’d better get that comment in now, knowing full well it’s a very temporary condition

The Eagles shamelessly tanked the last game of the 2020 season.

That took them from 9 to 6. They traded 6 and a 5th for 12 and #123 and a 2022 1st.

If the Eagles win that game, they just get Devonta Smith.

In losing that game, they got Devonta Smith and Jordan Davis. And if they didn’t have 2 first that year, they might have just used their own pick in the 20s instead of trading it for AJ Brown.

IMO, tanking has a purpose.

Man, I don't think I can remember a season with so many injuries. Anyone ever recall having 9 of 22 starters on offense not playing by the 5th game of the season?

2020 was close because there was something like 12 different O-Line combinations all year.

I think we are going to see a staff overhaul this offseason. Between everything with Jalen and now Smith likely to miss his third stretch of time with the same hamstring injury, somethings not right.

I think we can rule out the idea that preserving them for the season by not using them at all in the preseason, doesn't mean they won't just get hurt immediately in the season. The good news is that many of the guys that got preseason work are now the starters.

I said he sucks . Its in my post you are responding to.

Being 10-16 in a pretty not great era of QBs is very unimpressive

Sorry my bad you are right. I was hyped up because I just see so much Jalen defense right now. And I get it to an extent but so many want to just outright ignore the reality of what we’ve seen. He’s been part of a really great period in our history. But some refuse to acknowledge that for all of his positives and the things he brings there’s no doubt the passing offense has not been good with him at QB.

Its legitimate cruel and unusual punishment that the NFL kept our game on MNF. I hope it's the lowest viewed in a decade

How do you all hate the Cowboys so much? Time for my annual post that they deserve your apathy, not your hatred.

At this point, anyone who is a Cowboys fan has earned it. They would have jumped ship a long time ago if they were a bandwagon fan.

Cut the inferiority complex already.

The Cowboys occupy the exact same space in my brain as the Tennessee Titans.
