I saw DeVonta Smith didn't participate in the walkthrough yesterday. Do we have any idea when he will be back?

Next season.

I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Just thought I'd share a little bit of my latest journey in life. I'm an alcoholic. Have been for the past 20+ years, and probably my whole life if I think about it. That said, I'm currently sitting

Yeah. Giving Davis $26M is better than giving MW that money. 🤣

Maybe not, but if I'm going to reimagine the past - I'd at least substitute JD or Greenard with players who are having good seasons.

Can we get anything for Glassard?

A 5th?

2027 or 2029?

At this point, let’s get an EMB Fund started. We could use it to help buy out some of their Coaches……HC, OC, DC, OL Coach, Coach.

I can chip in to the fund the first $3million or so.

Probably a 2029. There can’t be a team out there stupid enough to give up a 2027 5th for Greenard The Ice Bath King.

@NOTW

One last point. The way Howie does contracts, it's actually EASIER to trade a guy earlier in his deal. Think of it this way - every year someone plays on their deal, the dead cap goes up because the cash paid is always higher than the cap charge. Someone like Dak who got an $80 million signing bonus - that makes trading earlier harder. But the Eagles pioneered this lower singing bonus, large annual guarantees structure and a lot of teams have copied it.

Jalen Carter: our standards are lower than the fans. Yikes.

Thank you. Is that why he was able to trade Wentz so soon after extension?

Not that I particularly want guys with recent extensions traded like Davis or Carter, but it's been a discussion and I was curious if that's even financially feasible and you've addressed that.

His sentiment is fine, but dude does not articulate well at all

Yes, Wentz's singing bonus was only $16.4 million. Most of the guarantees moved to Indy.

It is a good year to be a seller because the arms race is going to really heat up

Team quitters don't go far with Howard. Reddick and AJ Brown are recent examples. And this freestyling nonsense as well. That means they are not even listening to coaching. PLAYING FOR THEMSELVES ONLY!

Said it yesterday. Weed out the vermin or we never move forward. We have 1 amazing player that gets the bag and worth every penny and will eventually get the keys to the city. Only one, Quinyon Michell. He's an absolute stud and consummate professional. He's your cornerstone to the defense and eventual leader here. Everyone else is an accessory at this point. Need more character guys like that who have great talent as well. He gives me hope for what's to come. SELL SELL SELL.

Craziest deadline in the last 30 years

"its a whole new season.. " What ?? Are you effing serious ??

Its week 8 already - the "season" is half gone. what a jagoff

All we need is a defensive player to say for who and for what?

It makes sense. There are a few good teams but they all have flaws. It's up for grabs this year.

Which is funny because some feel like the Eagles have to go into total rebuild because they can't fix everything this offseason. That's true, but also true for every other team.

The disappointing part to this team, and really an indictment on Nick, is that they ultimately showed they were only front runners. It’s easy to be happy when you’re 10-0/11-2 but they hit a little adversity and completely folded in the tents. The same thing happened in 2023. Guys like Carter and DeJean are talking like they’re completely rattled because they never lost like this in college or high school. There was a path to fight this year, stick close to around a .500 record, and see what happens later in the season. But the season is over before Halloween because no one in that locker room on the player or coach side could hang tough and fight through adversity.

Eagles defense is going to be good again next season and this season will end up looking as just one of those weird years. I still love plenty of guys on this defense and the success they've had cannot be undone in one awful season.

I’d be perfectly fine with this decision. If the fat rich boys up front are playing lazy, give this guy a shot.

Rooting for an NFCN Team to win the SB. Against the Bills. Or Broncos. 🏈🦅

I know it’s really early to talk SB, but, I’m bored.
