carter doesn’t give any sheets about all the losing…he got paid.

You know when I say low IQ for this defense. I'm putting this dude in the front of line. His heart's not in it folks. Should retire like Ben Simmons. He states, " I don't care about what the fans think"

Been trying to tell ya all. This was a terrible move this offseason. In tandem with Davis. Sets the franchise back further than you ever dreamed of. Howard Pampers may not like this post. Most talented roster in the league is what I hear here for a long time. Bull 💩

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

yeah it is. You arent fixing that in an offseason. Offensive and and defensive lines need to be the priority in that order. There's still too many unknowns coaching wise too. This team is going to be in full blown rebuild either this offseason or next season. I was a lot more optimistic until Mondays game. It doesnt matter who your CBs are if you not getting pressure on the qb. Thats the defensive priority

Little dramatic. They need one edge, one safety, one LB, CB2

On offense they need one or two guards and a TE

There is no "full blown rebuild" needed yet past people who are in panic mode. No team has all-pros at every spot. A better safety will make Mukuba look better. A good edge in the top 10 this year makes the line and secondary look better. One really good guard makes one side of the line look much better.

Spectacular draft by Howard.

Couldn't fit in Antwaun Powell Ryland.

10 Beauties there. If Kendall gives us something that will be about it. See ya!

I’m not out on Mukuba, kinda like him but he’s gotta get better. Kendall seems legit. Robinson has flashed and is athletic, also seems to have a good attitude. Not a huge upside guy in the group though.

I’m completely out on Campbell at ILB. The rest of those guys remind me of the 2020 draft minus Hurts.

So I learned something interesting about the Jalen Hurts clot situation today.

I got into it with some of you knuckleheads about the trivial nature of a superficial clot back when they called it a superficial clot. I’m not a hematologist or vascular surgeon, but these are things that get a pretty dismissive reaction in the medical field. I was speaking to a few of those specialists today, two of whom have actually managed these issues as consultants for professional teams.

They were insistent that a DVT was missed. In the setting of an actual low risk, superficial clot, they were pretty emphatic that both travel and playing in the Jaguars game without significant restriction were just fine. With the time frame of progression to DVT/PE, they had a high degree of certainty it was a DVT all along and was missed on the ultrasound.

Now here’s where their input got interesting…the Eagles and their training staff don’t have the liability. You’ve got a sports medicine trained internal medicine team physician, various orthopedic surgeons, concussion specialists, and trainers on staff. They are relying on non team employed external consultants on those ultrasound results. They were told Hurts had a superficial clot and acted appropriately. The docs in London that missed the DVT have extremely limited liability in their national health system in this scenario.

So who has the liability that this went sideways and for any downstream harm? It’s the NFL. They are responsible for the medical care players receive abroad. In that context, that report that the NFL is furious about how the Eagles have handled the PR over this situation suddenly makes a lot of sense. The financial liability with this lies with the NFL. If Hurts wanted to take this to court, he’d be suing the NFL, not the Eagles.

Mukuba can be fine if they have a legit guy playing next to him. That's about it from those three. Kendall seems like a solid center.

I said those things as well. It was clear from the two statements the eagles made that they intentionally conveyed the message that the London doctors made this diagnosis, and that the eagles followed the London doctors recommendations.

Also said the NFL seems accountable for this since theyre setting up the international medical partnerships. Hopefully this makes them reconsider all of this international nonsense.

Its hilarious that people are trying to pin it on the eagles and that the NFL is reportedly furious with the eagles handling of this. I guess maybe thats the NFL trying to pass the buck, but theyre not going to be able to.

The one remaining question though goes back to your point- London doctors do the scan, read the images. Dont the eagles also get on the phone and see what their own doctors think? You would think they would...

First of all getting Jalen Hurts in that draft is already a win. Kendall has just been okay. Let's pump the breaks. Because Majors was horrific, he's a step up. Makuba has regressed from last year. He is lost out there too. Are you watching the games and tweets afterwards? You need to. Robinson has Byron Young potential. 5th guy or cut. For 10 picks, this draft is a big fat F right this second. Has a chance to be a D plus.

You would think they’d check with someone back in Philly. But even in the highest stakes, it’s shockingly difficult to share medical imaging.

Even if they should have done that, in terms of legal liability, they didn’t have to. That acted upon the information with which they were provided. Failing to share protected health information under the control of the NHS with docs in Philly for a second opinion could never be argued to constitute negligence from the Eagles.

Legally, understandable. Still odd that they possibly didnt.

As far as the legal stuff, I completely agree. The eagles told us this if you knew how to read between the lines.

Whoever they get will be on IR first week of the season. Then Jake Majors comes to the rescue. I'm sorry, this roster is worse than I even thought. You have to count the depth before we can consider any serious contender here. They have millions of miles to go.

One bad year doesn't mean next will be as bad. No team is going to have starting level people at every backup position.

I'm not giving you a hard time. This roster is overrated. And have been trying to say. But will see. 2025 draft is close to a 0. 2026 draft is just okay right now. 2024, draft was seemingly great, till Coop laid an egg and Hunt is not a starting edge in my mind. Too small and can't set the edge. And really doesn't finish....a rotation guy. So we have been too generous in evaluating Howie here when you take a step back. We are looking at the past with Howie and assuming this will repeat the same exact way. I need a lot more picks in the 2027 stash before feeling even okay about this turnaround. He's butchered a bunch of picks recently. Let's call a spade a spade.

Hey dum dum! Jurgens got us a 2. Lot of bad GMs out there who we can fool and can be fooled like many of you by this Superbowl greatness they had for 1 year.

Before you think about all those draft picks, look at Howie’s last two drafts.

I agree 💯. But we still gotta try and get the picks and see if can do it with quantity.

I think we’re good at LB if you bench Campbell and start Trot tbh

dont forget about HC, OC and STC. maybe even DC if the defense is already giving this level of effort in a very winnable game. i'm not panicking at all. we need real change.

Wow. That makes it really hard to root for the guy. Seems like he still hasn't grown up. Surprising that he kind of admitted to being lazy on the field

Also taking a shot at the fans is definitely a choice lol

🤦‍♂️

Are you high?

I said the rest of the Jalen Hurts draft, did you read that part? I acknowledged Mukuba needs to get better, but I’m not making any personnel judgments based off the Thomas Peterson/Shane Haffs of the world. It’s not a strong draft, as I clearly indicated.

My goodness, it’s like you disagreed just for the sake of disagreeing. Go to bed.

Brewers won tonight and I don’t even have a beer in the house to celebrate. Disgraceful

I've interviewed Philadelphia athletes before. This is terrible. I had to check if this was AI. Very unlikable dude right now. Setting himself up for a problem.
