Guys being held out and fielding a preseason-like roster the rest of the way. Think like a Hinkie. This I applaud Howie for. I think Carter is on board with this.3 words to describe what needs to happen the rest of this season...TRUST THE PROCESS

Why don't we just sit him then and get him surgery? If he is not getting surgery now then these are all excuses. He had a bad wrist last year as well. He may just love collecting a check and hiding behind that. He doesn't strike me as a guy who wants to get into that foxhole and fight with guys right now. Looks disinterested. Fat and happy. Will see. Will have to see if we hear about this same excuse next year. Gonna have to change his name to Jalen Glasster. Maybe the red alerts on draft day will come and haunt us. Howie fell for it hook, line and sinker. $40M/$152M contract. Went Poof!

Lot of bad GMs out there who we can fool and can be fooled like many of you by this Superbowl greatness they had for 1 year.1 desperate team makes an idiotic trade and you think there are 10 other ones who saw that and will say "hey we should do that too!" Go ahead and list the suitors for all the terrible players we have. Bad teams normally have the stupid GMs. Bad teams are normally the ones selling at the deadline. So who's buying?

The rest won't get you much, but dump them anyway. This is a lost season and could be the same for next season. Low expectations. Get what you can and you move on. We will be bad either way. How bad is the question? This is all about maxing out with draft capital for the next 2 seasons. 2028 looks pretty set. So half way there. Try to come back and compete in 2028 and beyond. This is toast for 2 years. At bare minimum. This squad is a lot of flotsam and jetsam overall though. Be patient.

Would hope a 4th or 5th is possible from a contender. He's an adequate NFL starter. The sentiment around Woolen is reminiscent of what was being said about Slay in 2020. We're blaming the corner for issues that are more systemic in nature.

Would be nice to hear from @just relax on something like this but people had to be ridiculous with their hot takes so I guess we can't have nice things.
October 28Oct 28 Were the Chargers expected to be this bad through the offseason? They were 11-6 last year but are winless this season. Greg Roman is somewhere smiling.

The thing that bothered me about Woolen last game was his ole tackle of Flournoy while he was running down the sidelines. Sunday is big for him and the Eagles. If he looks good they may be able to flip him. Getting a 6th for him is like giving him away. Let Detroit pass on him and let them get torched in the playoffs.

When I think back to Moro Ojomo's PC prior to the season, talking about getting paid elsewhere after this season, cant help but wonder if he is just out there hunting sacks selfishly. Which obviously isnt working out too well for him, nor anyone else. We possibly haveOjomo playing for himself/contractGreenard trying to be Kawhi Leonard and Ben SimmonsCarter and Davis fat and happy.
October 29Oct 29 Gotta be honest - those Carter and Davis contracts are looking pretty horrendous this season
