Shes the only owner who does it and it's because it's meddlesome and stupid. Schlereth who is a Colts company man even called her out for it..But hey, let's see how it works out for her Cotton....

It's an absolute mess. It's not like we have league-average circumstances right now. It's well below that. It’s not just this year. I would agree that it would be relatively unfair to hold this year against him. I think he’s had multiple seasons where he proved he didn’t have the answers.
9 hours ago9 hr 35 minutes ago, Sack that QB said:Lurie’s obsession with the Shanahan offense derailed this season to failure before it began. That was the thing that kickstarted the bad OC search, losing Stoutland. And everything that followed.Stoutland left a week after Mannion was hired as OC.
9 hours ago9 hr Sirianni is not the most successful Eagles coach of all time, Andy Reid is. People overrate the value of a Super Bowl compared to long term success. Andy Reid made this organization what it is today. He legitimized it from a joke to a premium organization with his philosophies and stability. And dude won consistently for almost 15 years here.Sirianni made a couple Super Bowls because Howie Roseman compiled a generational roster. Two of the best rosters top to bottom the NFL has seen in the last 20 years because of a 4 year generational GMing run.But this city was starved and deprived of a SB for so long I think it's broken peoples brains and made people think that winning a SB automatically means you're special and it really doesn't. You see that more and more every year.

I’d add to this what is probably on lurie’s mine is that even before this year they had two pro bowl caliber wide receivers, a good tight end, and a good running back. And yet they couldn’t get the passing game to be functionally consistent in a passing league. Even the year they won the Super Bowl. They had an all-time historic running game. Yet it was like pulling teeth to get the passing game to work. So even before all the injuries this year, the passing game still didn’t look right. At some point Ia good tight end, and a good running back. And yet they couldn’t get the passing game to be functionally consistent in a passing league. Even the year they won the Super Bowl. They had a all-time historic running game. Yet it was like pulling teeth to get the passing game to work. So even before all the injuries this year, the passing game still didn’t look right. At some point I got imagine lurie is true to his philosophy of passing the football. at some point, he needs to bring somebody in here that can implement a new offense, knows how to teach it properly and fix the passing game. Can’t keep relying on coordinators to do it. I think it needs to come from the top. IMO jury is out on hurts as his contract forces him to be here in 2027. So he’s gonna be here then

We have some pretty bad to mediocre players in this team across the board. No flukes. One counter to that is the number of defensive players week after week who are getting through unblocked. Bell and JM on their last sacks were just beat, but so many times you see a TE or T just let people through. I didn't see 3 guys blocking one this week, but you still have similar issues with the interior. You also have tales of two halves again....week after week. Players aren't forgetting how to play it's coaching and a lack of adjustments or they wouldn't look so much better at the start of games. They obviously need better players but it's not just mediocre guys.

So he’s gonna be here thenWhether Sirianni is a good coach or is almost irrelevant. You can't have an offensive coach who doesn't call plays, but wants to be heavily involved in the offense. It leads to a situation where good experienced OC's don't want to come here. The only reason they were able to get Kellen is because his stock was so down after Dallas got rid of him and he went to Brandon Staley's sinking ship the following year. The entire process of having an offensive coach who doesn't call plays but wants it to be "his offense" is set up for things to fail before it even starts. It took a great DC, one of the greatest Rosters in the NFL in decades, and a historic season from an OL and RB to allow a Sirianni led team to have the ultimate success. It is not even remotely sustainable as a model. To make matters worse, Sirianni is a FN dope who has zero ability to make adjustments or provide answers when things start to go bad. He has shown that time and time again over the years.
9 hours ago9 hr I’ve said this before the fact that lurie wants to run this type of offense, you can’t have Nick sirianni trying to implement it. Because he has to rely on all his assistant coaches and an OC who’s inexperienced to do it. It’s not gonna work. You need a head coach that knows how to implement it and has a way of doing it so everybody can learn the system and get it down. Having him have one philosophy and all his other coaches have another is not going to work.I’ve said this for a while, it’s not even just this year why lurie would fire Nick. It goes back to the end of the Brian Johnson era. Were they couldn’t pick up blitzes. Their passing game in a passing league and it has before this year two pro bowl caliber wide receivers and a good tight end. Couldn’t get the passing game to be consistent. It was always inconsistent. And then includes 2024 where they had a historic running game and they still couldn’t get it to be consistent. At some point lurie is about his philosophy which is passing the football to get anhead and running it late.He wants the next Andy Reid and he believes in Andy Reid‘s philosophy. He’s not against running the football. But I don’t think he believes you can just have a historic running game every year and that’s how you build it and you can win a title that way. The Eagles winning it that way with a pass offense that was like 29th in the league is more of an outlier. It is one thing if the Eagles were like middle of the NFL in passing that year. But they weren’t. We were super super fortunate. We had an elite defense, elite offensive line -!3 elite running back and our running game just killed people until the passing game finally caught fire at the end of the postseason run.
9 hours ago9 hr Sirianni will be the perfect coach for Mount Union after this. All that high school Harry bs will work at the D3 level
9 hours ago9 hr Gonna say that Greenard will play much better next season and he's much better than we've been playing, I've seen it from him to know whatever we're seeing now isn't the real him.

Just a lot of hopium.I'm a bit more optimistic than you but they do need some help. I think it's hard to judge fully because of just how toxic things are on so many levels. People are quitting, people look lost, people are regressing all over. They need to improve in FA and the draft, but sometimes things reach levels where talent looks worse than they are.

It's just too difficult to identify, at least from an outsiders' perceptive, what exactly he does. I will add though, as a reminder, that even in his worst seasons we still won 11 games. Yes, he had talent and the org/Howie were operating on all cylinders, but he does deserve credit too. People will miss this era of Eagles' football. More than likely, we'll never have a period of success like we did with him as HC. Unreal winning percentage, two SB appearances, one win. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. We're not the Browns with some joke as HC.
