Man. I really owe @RememberTheKoy an apology. I used to really think either him or Skippy were the worst posters on the board.

I was wrong.

Those two are so stubborn they make oxen blush, but at least they can read more than a sentence without getting lost. Hell, Skippy writes entire books (with no point to them at all).

Kendell and Bell are fine as backups but they are proving they aren't starters. Steen is horrendous without great players around him. They need to completely revamp the OL other than Mailata.

Plays like this is what I was talking about. His body may be shot but he's a vet who was one of the best in the league. For him to make these kinds of mistakes it tells me it goes far beyond talent and it's the OL coach/offensive scheme. Too many people aren't being blocked at different times. Chances are they all suck outside JM but it's hard to know for sure with how bad things are.

Keep on climbing so the Eagles can have a chance to land Jeremiah Smith, a new cornerstone OT or best edge in the class.

Just looking at the schedules of teams competing with us

LAC: vs. Houston, at Baltimore, vs. jets, vs NE, at TB, at LV, vs sf, at Miami, vs KC and at Denver

Titans: vs jags, at Dallas, at jags, vs. commanders, at lions, vs colts, at LV, vs Steelers, at Houston

Dolphins: vs lions, at colts, at Buffalo, vs jets, at Denver, vs bears, at Gb, vs LAC, vs Buffalo, at NE

Colts: vs Dallas, vs Miami, at Houston, vs NYG, at eagles, at titans, vs bengals, at browns, vs jags

(If colts don’t quit they have a bunch of winnable games.. pick reverts to the jets)

Houston: At LAC, at Cleveland, vs. colts, vs. Baltimore, at Steelers, at Washington, vs jags, at eagles, at Gb and vs titans

(Actually could see the Texans getting hot winning next 4 and finishing the year winning 7 of 10)

Jets: At KC, vs Buffalo, at LAC, at Miami, vs Denver, at Arizona, vs. ne, vs. Vikings and at Buffalo

NO: vs Cleveland, vs Carolina, at bears, at bengals, vs GB, at Carolina, at tb, vs Az, at Atlanta, vs Tampa

Az: At Seattle, vs rams, at KC, vs commanders, vs eagles, vs jets, at New Orleans, vs LV, at SF

Washington: vs rams, at NYG, vs bengals, at Az, at titans, vs Houston, vs Atlanta, at Minnesota, at jags, vs Dallas

Imo i think Az, commanders, Houston and New Orleans all seem like they’ll finish behind us in draft order. Really Miami, titans, jets, LAC and colts competing with us in the top 5. Colts have a soft schedule but they seem to be trading everyone and quitting.

I’ll miss the era’s winning percentage and the two Super Bowl appearances. I won’t miss how annoying it was watching such an immensely talented team struggle so much while winning. I know that comes off as spoiled, but it’s the truth.

It sounds like that, but im guessing Lurie isn’t firing for just this year. Everything went to crap in 2026. However, I think he’d be firing him because the passing game has needed to be fixed from the end of 2023 until everything went to crap this year, and he hasn’t been able to do it. You can’t just keep hiring OCs and hoping they can fix the problem and doing so until one does. Even if #1 does, they are likely being hired to be a head coach somewhere else then. He is a head coach and an offensive minded head coach. He should be able to figure out these passing game problems, especially when Howie gave him a top 10 wide receiver in AJ Brown, another top 10 wide receiver in devonta Smith, a very good tight end any historic running game, which should’ve made the passing the ball easier. Except it was always like we were pulling teeth to get the passing game to be functional

lol at the response gif

Guys getting taken out on the sideline when they aren’t even playing lol thankfully he’s alright

Dudes lack of effort pops every game

This is how easy it is to gash Davis & Carter.

I think they are going to need to have another meeting about giving effort this week. Davis will lead it. I'm sure it will get squared away.

A lot of good work on your part to type that out.

Looking at the possible pick tackle seems too up in the air to draft one top 5 and I don't see them taking a WR. To me it's edge or Drew if he falls. Moore and Q would be interesting if that's how the board falls. I'd rather trade back though.

Tbh unless they love a Qb or seaton i think they move back and stockpile more picks. I’d have said goosby but he’s out for the rest of the year so I can’t see them spending a top five pick on a kid who missed half the season

That's kind of how I'm seeing it as well. If one of the two edge guys are there I'm taking him. I'm not sure they'd pass on Drew. Any other QB or position would be a mistake IMO vs trading down.

I know people aren’t gonna like this, but we’re in an offensive league. And I think if you’re gonna spend a pick that high, it has to be somebody on offense. especially because your offense needs to be rebuilt. As much as the Eagles could use an edge rusher, their offense is dramatically worse with the talent than defense. They need two guards, potentially a OT, TE, long term replacement for Barkley and potentially a Qb. Defense needs help as well but the offense is in much more dire need of talent. I’d trade back if it’s a defensive player and try to get more picks. Frankly we need more picks in Thai draft to try and plug holes.

My counter is outside of QB edge talent is the most expensive position to obtain in a trade for a reason. Tackle is up there but switching to salaries Anderson is making 50 million while OTs make 30 million. There is a reason for that.

If one of the two edge guys are there you take them IMO because if they live up to their talent level it would cost you multiple firsts+ to get someone equal to them.

We aren't sure what Bell is but if there was a highly graded tackle worthy of a top 5 pick then sure...but there isn't in this draft. I'm not sure anyone knows who the best one is yet because it's not clear. I'm not excited about him passing on high-level talent at a position of need to roll the dice and move back.

They have four picks in the top 2 rounds in 28. Cross edge off with high talent and start working on the rest starting with the 2nd this year. It's a lot easier to address the other positions later in the draft and FA outside of QB and this is a weak class outside of Drew.

Hilarious. People said there was no way they lost yo Washington that they’d turn it around. Howd that work out?

Remember back at the beginning of the season when I was worried about this offense and this team? And certain posters continued to call me negative?

Well now those of you that did can go jump into the river.

This team and offense didn't look good in preseason and hasn't looked good in any game. Hurts/McKee doesn't matter in this offense. Manion is a bad hire.

If we get any coaching in-season coaching sacrifices it’ll be Kuper and Clay, but really what’s the point…

Another terrible loss. They started okay with 10 straight points but gave up 27 unanswered points. Again when things start to spiral, they go off the rails. The most consecutive losses since 2012, Andy's last year (He lost 8 straight). This is Nick's first really bad season because he still made the playoffs even during the collapse year. But this year is going really bad, like 2012, 2020 bad and both of those years we let go of Andy and Doug who both had historic success with the team. Injuries, Lane retirement, Jalen situation could be used to give him a pass for this year but changes do happen after horrific years like this.

2012 - 4-12

2020 - 4-11-1

2026 - 2-6

Yep. She could be doing the same thing in the box without it being the distraction you said. She probably loves the attention but it's showing up the coach/team.

Fan for over 40 years. I haven almost never missed watching a game in that span because I didn't care. Last night was a first. Even when we were terrible in the 80s and early nineties there was something interesting about the team that made you want to watch. I've never been so embarrassed for a team as this years eagles team. And thats saying something. I lived thru Marion Campbell and Rich Kotite. This team desperately needs an infusion of excitement or fear. Maybe that's firing the coaching staff (doubt it), or maybe that's cutting or trading some significant players, or maybe both. I don't care we just need something significant to change.

On a side note I don't want to see Mckee anymore. Give Milton a shot or even the rookie. McKee doesn't have it. and he's the absolutely wrong QB behind this atrocious Oline.

Worst team in the league

It's pathetic that this is what we have to look forward to for the rest of the season... on November 2, with more games ahead of us still than behind us.
