You think he'd be able to control the LOS a little better than that. Do you think the NFL would allow us to hang a twinkie off the front of his helmet for extra motivation. Kinda like dangling a carrot in front of a horseIt happens consistently! I don't get it

Grizzard, Jerrod Johnson, Mahaffey and I feel like I’m still missing someone they hired who didn’t get the OC job but brought in after the fact anyway.Johnson on his 15th team as a player/ coach?

Mannion has been coaching in the NFL for 2 and some change years. Patullo has been coaching in the NFL for almost 20. Mannion has lapped Patullo 3x in 3 games as a coach, simply because he can do the most basic responsibilities, things Patullo couldn’t do. That’s how bad Patullo was.

There's tons of problems with this team. The offense stinks and the qb has been meh
September 30Sep 30 We can go back here and I have always been hesitant about giving Jordan Davis the bag. And Jalen Carter as well. They've made it a priority to keep these GA Bulldogs together. I was not hesitant with giving Milton Williams the bag following that Superbowl. Davis concerns were his stamina (plays too few snaps and lack of improvement in his career with with pass rush). For Carter, I don't think he deserved the bag after last year's production and 2 injured shoulders this early in his career. Howie submitted to him and his agent and definitely overpaid him. I was considering trading him and keeping Ojomo for close to half the cost. I wouldn't have been mad being left with MW & Ojomo at all here for the long term. Still say Howie misplayed this whole ordeal following the Superbowl. Could have kept all 4 studs together for 2 years post Superbowl and see how it all plays out, while having a super deep line the whole time. I will always hate how he attacked that post superbowl with the handling of this roster, specifically the defensive line and also losing Isaiah Rodgers for peanuts. I have forgiven him some since.

Blame him for being a CEO HC that doesn’t contribute to the offense.Dont blame him if you don’t like what you see on offense. He’s not even an ingredient in the meal.38 minutes ago, eagle45 said:Do you all think that maaaaaaybe you all leaned a little too hard into the "blame Patullo for everything it’ll all be great with anyone else” sentiment? So the coaching is bad last year because Nick was stripped of play calling so it was Patullo’s fault………. But we are also experiencing bad coaching this year so we shouldn’t blame it on Patullo.Brilliant

Oh yea, absolutely.

A lot of very questionable stuff so farI'm not sure we've seen everything yet. Part of the first few weeks for an OC has to be getting to know the tools he has and how to best use them. Also, what are the chances the Eagles hired two OCs in back to back years who both can't adjust in the 2nd half? The only constant variable is Nick. Hurts played like an MVP the first half so what happened in the second? I'm supposed to believe he came out a different player or were the calls different like not running to the left side again when it was working that first half. What is Nick doing that's sinking that offense?

Oh yea, absolutely. For every year Mannion has been coaching in the league, Patullo has almost 10. Patullo was let’s say 90% of the problem last year. You could have Vince Lombardi/john madden coaching with him and the 2010’s all decade team as his O and he still would have been trash. The dude literally couldn’t even pick a base play and call it in in time. One of the most basic responsibilities of an OC. Nothing that was slamming him last year was unjust. We all slammed Siri just as hard. Patullo wasn’t some scapegoat.

Oh yea, absolutely. You also need to mention the offense was the same system last year while they are trying to install a new one this year so it ranking lower doesn't phase me. They look much better at times and others they look the same. Patullo was a POS as an OC. Weeks 4-6 we'll have a better idea of what this offense will look like and I'm sure many will be foaming at the mouth to say it sucks.
