We're assuming it's his parent based on previous reports that they were unhealthy. What if it's his kid, or his wife?

Johnson was played at LT exclusively this offseason. Since they drafted bell, he has been the guy at RT. So either way, Fred wasn’t going to start today anyways. Bell will be fine

Wicks is fine, but not a WR1. My point is this is the first game in a while (since apparently 2020) that Hurts has not had legitimate WR1 playing. It isn't going to be pretty

Maybe Hurts will elevate the games of the players around him for the first time ever.

I’d imagine it has to be pretty serious for him to miss the game.

If it turns out to be a setback with depression, I’d be pretty disappointed that he sat out last minute.

Irrational is his history of wandering off on game day. Also, I'm a fan. I don't have to be warm and caring. I want them to win and an hour and a half before a big game with nobody on the roster at T behind Bell and JM he's decided not to play. If it's not a wife, child, or the last time he can see them it's f'ed. If it's one of those it makes sense. We all know their record without him and if it's not then he's being cold to his teammates and the fans who pay his salary outside that stadium waiting to see them today.

Lane has been one of the best at his position his entire career, won multiple SBs and is in the final stretches of his final season in the NFL.

If he's gotta be out - not only do I wish he and his the best, but he's arguably one of the only players that has earned the right to do so on this team.

Our chances went from not very good to none with Lane out. I just hope it’s not another really embarrassing loss.
