October 4Oct 4 Welcome to October, it's getting cold outside. It's also getting darker earlier. Week 4 is here, Man the season is flying by already. September is over but it didn't end on the best note. The Eagles lost their first game in September in two Calendar years and are 2-1 and leading the Division after September. Ironically the last loss 2 years ago was also a blowout. At that time the Eagles were 2-2 and everyone was complaining, nobody knew what was about to happen after that. Philadelphia ended up having a parade while stopping a Dynasty who is still trying to recover. Well it's a different year and new team so sure doesn't mean the same outcome. But what it does show is that this team knows how to bounce back. The NFL is a game of matchups. Some teams have your number and some teams you have their number. The Bears have had our number the last few years, it is what it is. Losing to Old Man Keenum wasn't a good feeling but the "Backup Energy Bump" got us. Again it is what it is. The good news is that the Eagles have had the Rams number for a long time now. They lead the overall series 26-20-1. Since 2005 over 21 years ago, The Eagles are an amazing 10-1 against the Rams. The only loss coming in the Covid year. McVay and Stafford are 0-4 the last 3 seasons against the Eagles including a playoff loss. So even off a tough loss, this is a great chance to bounce back. Now yes, we aren't coming in 100%. But now some new guys get a chance to shine. I also think Defense get their first INT today. Stafford is infinitely better than Keenum but he does have issues with this defense. I think the guys play a cleaner game today, Defense also gets after Stafford. Feels like it’s there if they want it.One of Barkley's successful runs last game was a wrinkle off that play. They ran to the opposite side from where Lemon ran that motion to. I got excited thinking they were finally bringing out the fun stuff that the play was supposed to set up.But then, the next time they ran it, they threw Lemon the ball for a loss of yards again....
