October 9Oct 9 I got an notion we win on Sunday. Chips are down, lots of young guys/back ups playing, everyone will be picking us to lose.

Also has no OL, but why let facts get in the wayIf thw QBs were swapped the past 5 years we would probably have at least one more super bowl and the proven winner would never have made the playoffs with the bengalsSo bottom line a lot of excuses are made for a guy who hasn't had what it took to win. Perhaps that has something to do with retirement being in his head until recently. He also seems injured constantly. Hurts outplayed Mahomes in two SBs. Talent doesn't always equate to winning. I want nothing to do with a guy who was debating early retirement. Going a step further Hurts is in a no win situation with some. If it's a good team and a good OL he is carried. If it's a bad team he is holding them back.

Shows a loser mentality. If there’s an Andrew Luck prospect and you want the number 1 pick, fine. But outside of that you want to win. It’s typically the same teams always picking at the top of the draft.

Miles Sanders had the greatest season of all time? O sacks in the SB is the greatest defense of the 2000s?Has Dak even made it to a championship game?

But if 8 wins is enough to win the division, that means like the division, we also suck, and the prize for being the tallest midget is moving down in the draft, after getting bounced rudely on the road in the wild card round.

Barkley had the greatest Eagles RB season of all time. Our defense dismantled the Chiefs in that Superbowl. Joe Burrow has not had a 2000 yard rusher, and has never had any semblance of an average defense, let alone a good or a great one.

You've had some truly ridiculous takes latelyThat's called an ad hominem where you go with personal attacks vs addressing the substance of what I posted.Yeah, a bunch of excuses are madefor Burrow while you seem to have a real thing against Hurts, which I get because I don't love the guy. Burrows gets free passes in you mind while Hurts can't win. Like I said if the team is good he was carried. If they aren't good then he's holding them back. He doesn't get a free pass this year because he has a bad OL like you give Joe. He doesn't get credit for winning with a different OC every year or a new system this year. You want to gloss over the fact that Joe was debating retiring at an early age until recently, which says his head wasn't totally in things. Hurts has a lot of flaws but he wins in big situations while Joe just decided he wants to play long-term.

Just that different QBs are allowed different narratives for some reason. Josh Allen is amazing but if an Eagles QB had 4 turnovers in a winnable playoff game it wouldn’t be pretty.
October 9Oct 9 While I think it is true that Howie trading Jurgens doesn't = him punting on the season per se. But it's not like Kendall got hurt during practice and blindsided them. They traded the guy knowing Majors will probably have to go from practice squad to starting an important game for them. That says something and I don't think it's just "It was an offer we couldn't refuse"If this was a team that looked great about to head into an NFC East matchup where winner takes control of the division... not sure he approaches it the same way.
