I dont understand how Paganetti is ignoring the angle of the story that the entire offense was changing, and that OL scheme wasn't going to fit with the new offense.

It was a shame to loose Stoutland but change was needed. Not directly needing to fire Stoutland but he was a casualty of the major change that needed to happen.

His line sucked last year too. And we dont know if he wasnt the coach that refused to bench Dickerson and Jurgens. Now that hes gone, the eagles were sure quick to make those moves.

This Paganetti guy comes off more as someone with an axe to grind than impartial analyst.

It is very odd that he is still throwing a tantrum. The fans did that when the news was announced and moved on. Why is this guy still whining?

Kendall, Smith, Barkley, Brown and Epps are out

Grennard Questionable

Greenard questionable despite not practicing all week is odd - can't recall someone playing after not practicing at all.

Good to see Wicks has no injury designation.

Hope we get Barkley, Kendall and Smith back next week.

I think that's the whole point, he's not an impartial analyst. He was a guy on the Eagles staff for years who randomly left this off-season for unknown reasons and he likely does have an axe to grind with the current organization.

Was on the staff with Stout. Probably friends. He left in Feb 2021 (was assistant LB coach), so looks like Nick fired/didn't retain him.

Wicks was Limited.

Greenard woke up feeling pretty good.

Disappointed for the likely return of Campbell. Hope we get a large dose of Trotter/Baun.

Limited in practice but no game status designation.

Jalen has a calf injury?

I guess I have my Paganetti's mixed up. His brother TJ was the one that left after the 2024 SB and was close with Stoutland also.

Where did you hear that?

It's on the injury report. Was full practice, but listed with a calf injury.

He was a Quality Control guy who was likely part of the collateral damage whenever there is organizational change. You're either buying into the new direction or you're going out with the old guard.

I've heard an anecdotal tale of a large corporation undergoing restructuring and when it was presented by video conference to the staff, the first image shown was a boat on the water. The CEO narrated over it "each of you have a decision to make; you're either on this boat with us, or you're out of the boat swimming your own way."

Greenard can go kick rocks. Go play in traffic.

Get rid of his injured butt for a 4th? Great signing there, Howie.

Vikas,

Can Greenard be moved? Cap ramifications for next year or the following year/s??

Quick question is Johnny Mundt blocking that good where we just can forfeit his inability to be a passing threat? I saw he had a bad grade in the Bears game. I almost rather just put an extra OL in there instead.

Oh crap I didn't even notice. Hope he's careful with that. Hate what those turn into.

I don't remember TEs who couldn't catch back in the day. I'm sure they were around but Jackson, Lewis, Celek, etc. I get ones that can't block, but how do you get to the NFL level as a TE and not be a passing threat? What is the point? Just put in an extra OL. How do they not develop that skill?

I think they should use that Xtra lineman package more going forward. Then put Ertz in there with Goedert for key 3rd downs and Red zone. Very little Mundt. He's the 3rd TE type like Stoll.

Carson Steele activated to the 53 man roster.

LFG!

I guess you all finally see that the offense has a talent problem.

It’s not that bad. Considering both WR1 and RB1 are out it’s not terrible. Nowhere near as bad as the year Greg Ward was WR1

Signed Majors too. Howie is catching up to all the good moves been asking for. Liked Steele in KC. We have some fighters playing this week. Playing to the whistle. Fun bunch.

This is starting to feel like '20 when we lost 8 OL and Wentz was absolutely destroyed play after play. Can't win without some continuity on the OL.
