I saw he had a bad grade in the Bears game. I almost rather just put an extra OL in there instead. The guy is worthless. Killed me watching him in the Rams game in obvious passing situations. That is on the staff. Can't catch a cold and was billed as some great Ditka type blocker but is average giving him the benefit of the doubt which I shouldn't.

But a late 7th, that's basically first dibs on a UDFA.Greenard basically cost a 3rd rd pick (they'll get a comp pick for Phillips) and is basically Phillips with a better injury history. Best they get him healthy for the stretch run.Meanwhile he turns a 7th into a 5th, adds a 2028 2nd and moves out money with the Jurgens deal. Jurgens can't play OG, I'd rather go with Lumpkin/Morris and take my lumps with players who can improve. And Kendall is the center of the future.Don't know if the revamped OL will work, but can it be worse than what we saw last season with Mailata - Dickinson (cripple) - Jurgens (cripple) - Steen - F Johnson or this season? At least when you look at Mailata - Lumpkin/Morris - Kendall/Majors - Steen - Ball you've got the core of a young OL, and look for Howie to add depth, and use a high pick if they struggle.I don't think Dickinson is coming back, and if he does, he won't last long. That stem cell stuff is of dubious value, and I think he's shot and will retire after this season. Otherwise he'll be cut.I can see Howie eating $100M the next two seasons, going young, and setting the team up for a 2029-2030 SB run.Doesn't mean he'll give up the next two seasons, rather, he'll make some clever moves, but avoid committing a lot of money and clear out the veterans with limited life expectancy.Howie is the quick turnaround artist. This is exactly what I would like to see happen. Take the cap hits ASAP and try and start with a relatively clean slate in 2-3 years. With all the money that will be available for FAs and all the draft picks the team could be in a very good position.

Can't win without some continuity on the OL.Wentz and Kelce were the only starters on the field for a few games; they were decimated everywhere (although Alshon and Jackson living in the infirmary by choice didn't help)

Mundt brings nothing. The Eagles also still have Lane on the roster and with him the roster is at 53. I guess at some point they put him on the retirement list like they did Darius Smith last year.
October 9Oct 9 This is not 2020 , as you have 5-6 defensive starters who are pro bowl caliber if they play to their abilities. Offense has more depth at OL and WR. And these aren't season enders so far with the injuries. Guys eliminated thus far were either playing injured or out (L. Johnson) for much of the last year. Just having healthy bodies should make the OL better. Let alone, the talent is very intriguing across the board. Baldy called Lumpkin a starting center in the NFL and likes him at guard. Kendall has been an upgrade. Out hopefully only a week. This offense should take off with Devanta and Goedert in full time and OL gaining experience. The good news is they got alot of snaps together in preseason. I'm not worried about Barkley loss as much.

October 9Oct 9 I know I’m way late on this, but Sirianni’s over the top praise of Dameon Pierce was really weird.

October 9Oct 9 In a must win for the Eagles this weekend, I see a surprise win in this topsy turvy NFL season where you can't bring your B game and win. (Cowboys- Slide A)Jags will be looking at the injured sheet and have their guard down this weekend. Defense gets their shidd together and holds their end of the bargain. Eagles offense looks better than it has all season and musters up just enough running yards this week against a stingy Jags run defense. The damage will be done in the air tho, with Cooper and Lemon each getting in on the act. And Hurts feeling comfortable again with having his security blanket back in Goedert.Eagles win in a tight one. And everyone in here calms their harmonica afterwards and gets back slobbering on Hurts's D.Eagles-24Jags-21Carson Steele TDGoedert TDCooper TDAnd where's@mattwill ??

Don't want to fall 2 games out of first place. Think we will see some fight this weekend that brings a little bit of a new identity here with this team.
October 9Oct 9 Author Wild. If you ignore the third quarter, we have the 12th best offense, based on EPA/play. If you ignore the fourth quarter, we the 9th best defense.

October 9Oct 9 I don’t understand where all these comparisons of Hurts to Russell Wilson came from all of a sudden. To people saying Hurts is like Russell or like a lesser version of Russell. Hurts is nowhere near as talented as Russell Wilson was. He couldn’t hold Russell Wilson’s jock. Hurts sucks, and the HOF debate that was had in here was downright comical. Hurts is not a HOFer. Dude will probably finish his career with 30k passing yards in the "passing era” where everyone’s passing stats are inflated.
