Seattle giving that bum George Holani 8 carries (29 yards) when Price had 52 on 10 is ridiculous.

They did the same thing last year with Walker. Walker was good and charbonnet was avg under 4 yards per most of the year. Yet they split the backfield. Was maddening

I don’t think people understand the era of quarterback we are currently in and have been in for a few years now. The tide has turned where defense and rushing attacks are paramount again. The field general is gone. Stafford led the league in passing last season and he’s part of the old guard. You no longer need elite quarterback play to win a Super Bowl and the past two champions are proof of that.

Sometimes, I wonder if this fanbase deserves Hurts. Who has been nothing but a winner. Lives clean, doesn't complain and is coachable. Continuously works on his craft. And wasn't exactly welcomed initially with Wentz here. Has gone through different OCs like underwear, with little stability.

There are at best, 20 starting QBs in this league worth anything and you can absolutely win with him. Hard to say that same thing for many of the Top 20, even. This guy is underappreciated at this point. And people will soon come to their senses on this topic and how they totally misevaluated his worth.

Yep. NFL coaches are dumber than people realize. Price was ripping off awesome run after awesome run and they kept taking him out so George Holani could get 3 YPC to give 5. They also brought in Emmanuel Wilson when they had second and 1 at the 4 yard line before the delay of game penalty.

Honestly, it’s the reason I didn’t draft price this year. I had Walker last year. he was good in terms of running and yard per carry. But they never gave him the ball inside the red zone until like late in the year when they finally realize that charbonnet sucked. Super irritating. Did the same thing with price tonight. The one thing they do well is just get the ball to Jsn. He might be QB proof.

Pats did the same thing with Rhamondre Stevenson and Treyveon Henderson last year too. I don't know what the Pats infatuation with Stevenson is and why they keep trotting him out as RB1, the guy sucks and has always sucked yet they paid him good money and continue to give him carries that he does nothing with. Not to mention his fumbling issue.

I drafted Price as my 3rd RB in a 12 team PPR league. Unfortunately Swift and Tuten went with the two picks right before mine and I was ready to pounce on them (especially Swift). There really wasn't anyone else left that excited me even remotely besides Price. The best guys left were Pollard, the two Pittsburgh RB's, and Rhamondre and the draft was before Henderson got hurt and Jacobs got suspended. I figured if/when Charbonnet came back around October/November Price was lose valuable touches but I wasn't expecting him to lose touches to bums like Holani and Wilson.

The question with Hurts is always what is your other option. Would the fanbase be content in a tank year trying to draft a blue chip QB? Probably not with the talent this team has. Some on here wanted McKee to take the job, which I’m assuming has now died down since the Washington game at the end of last season and how he played in the preseason. Maybe something happens with Burrow demanding a trade in the offseason if Cinci craps the bed but I doubt it.

You have Mahomes, Allen, Stafford, and Burrow as your top tier QBs in the league. Then below that you have a bunch of guys who are all in the same boat in my opinion whether it’s Maye, Lawrence, Dak, Caleb, Goff, Herbert, Nix, Purdy, Love, Hurts, Baker, and Darnold. I think all of those guys are capable of winning a Super Bowl but it depends on the team surrounding them.

Hurts probably never cracks into that top 4-5 consistently and I’m okay with that. Others aren’t and just think top 5 QBs grow on trees.

I like Warren. I’m assuming McCarthy might try to use him like pollard in Dallas. However it sucks dowdle is there. I have tuten. I like him a lot but i have a feeling they could also do some dumb things like incorporate c-rod more than they should. I love price the player. I just hate that Seattle does that all the time. At least he’s only your 3rd back. He’ll have some games with tds. Just super frustrating how they employ their best back

Yep and look at what Henderson did in those four games that Rhamondre missed last season. Then as soon as he came back it was right back to a 50/50 shared backfield. Rhamondre had 14.7 PPR pts tonight but he was bailed out with 5 catches on Drake Mayhe check downs. He looked horrible running the ball.

I love Warren the player but I would be really surprised if that isn't a 50/50 split backfield. Tuten will probably lose some or all goal line touches to Rodriguez but I do think he will get more work than Price after watching tonight.

Yeah, I don’t understand why they are fascinated with Stevenson. He’s not a great runner. He’ll every once in a while bust one for 10 yards. He’s OK as a pass catcher. Henderson has way more upside and ability than Stevenson. you saw it towards the end of the year last year and in the playoffs at times. Now he’s hurt so they’re forced to have Stevenson be the number one. But he should be far away used more than Stevenson.

I agree with everything you stated. But let's not fool ourselves. Mahomes needed a championship defense and great talent on the OL & a HOF TE and an offensive guru head coach. Along with a lot of favorable Michael Jordan type calls by the refs to win games by a FG. Stafford always has plenty of talent in LA. Burrow has faded and been injured. And obviously needs a better roster. Allen can't get out of his own way in the big moments. All of these guys need a great roster to win. No one's carrying anyone on their back by themselves. What needs to be appreciated is that each QB wins differently. It may just not be aesthetically pleasing or stat sheet pleasing, but very effective in the W column.

Yeah talk about maddening. I scooped up Henderson last year and sat on him all year waiting for that moment. Once Stevenson missed time and Trey had those big games, I thought "no way can Vrabel deny this kid now, it's his backfield". Boy was I wrong, should've sold high on Trey had I known they would go back to that idiotic split, especially given how much better Treyveon was and performed. Mind boggling.

I don't get it. Not only does he suck but he has some serious fumblitis and has actually cost them some games because of it. And each time he's supposed to "be in the dog house", they keep trotting that bum back out there to get his 3 YPC.

Frankly feels like a Josh McDaniels thinking he’s smarter than everyone else. Is there two bigger dbags on one coaching staff than him and Vrabel?

He is supposedly their best blocking back is the only thing that helps him get on the field

I too had Warren. He was good last year even with Gainwell there.

These are valid points. Liam Coen actually coached Rodriguez at Kentucky in 2021 when he was the OC there, so he may be higher on C-Rod than most.

I didn't mind Vrabel when he was at Tennessee but for some reason he's become insufferable since going to NE. Especially since that stuff about him and Russini came out. I still don't know how that wasn't investigated more than it was, because she was obviously trying to drive down the trade price of Brown in the media just like she did for Julio Jones when Vrabel was at Tennessee.
