September 10Sep 10 I didn’t watch the game but based on Drake’s lowlights we’re gonna see some temper tantrums from brown this season.

Probably not with the talent this team has. Some on here wanted McKee to take the job, which I’m assuming has now died down since the Washington game at the end of last season and how he played in the preseason. Maybe something happens with Burrow demanding a trade in the offseason if Cinci craps the bed but I doubt it.You have Mahomes, Allen, Stafford, and Burrow as your top tier QBs in the league. Then below that you have a bunch of guys who are all in the same boat in my opinion whether it’s Maye, Lawrence, Dak, Caleb, Goff, Herbert, Nix, Purdy, Love, Hurts, Baker, and Darnold. I think all of those guys are capable of winning a Super Bowl but it depends on the team surrounding them.Hurts probably never cracks into that top 4-5 consistently and I’m okay with that. Others aren’t and just think top 5 QBs grow on trees.I would put Hurts and Goff on a mid tier. Something to consider, these are the active QB's who've own a super bowl. It takes years to develop a QB. Hurts has come a long way and is better than, at least, 25 other QB's in this league. We are on a run that most franchises can only dream about.Personally, there is only one person I want on this list and he's already our QB.Patrick Mahomes - 3Matthew Stafford - 1Jalen Hurts - 1Aaron Rodgers - 1Joe Flacco - 1Sam Darnold - 1Kenny Pickett - 1Russell Wilson - 1
September 10Sep 10 Just saw the Darnold play. He landed directly on a bent knee. Drives the leg posteriorly in to the hip socket. This is actually the mechanism for dislocating a hip which is typically a car crash injury (it takes that much force). The knee goes in to the dash and pushes the leg posteriorly.Darnold likely has a sprain and bone bruise on the posterior edge of his hip socket. There didnt seem to be car crash levels of impact on his play. And generally it takes that much force to dislocate a hip. Also X-rays apparently did not show a dislocation. There will need to be slight concern for avascular necrosis which is a loss of blood supply to the bone from trauma but that's unlikely without dislocation or fracture. MRI will be key.Already had a CT scan so between XRay and CT, fracture and dislocation are fully ruled out at this point. A true bone bruise rather than a superficial hip pointer is likely the worst case scenario now which would be a few weeks.
September 10Sep 10 @mattwill Eagles 🏈 finally back. Birds: 24Commies: 20Bonus: Barkley rushes over 100 yards and has 1 TD

September 10Sep 10 If AJ Brown is seriously hurt, that will continue to linger into 2027. He will continue to be a little slower/less healthy. Pats have also been built through free agency, and now have below-average cap space. Harder for them to fill those gaps next year too.

September 10Sep 10 Maye was definitely awful last night. I don't know if he and AJ just aren't on the same page yet, or if his deep ball is just that bad. Brown was open with plenty of field in front of him, so that should've been an easy TD. the final 2 INTs were just bad passes, especially the last one because he had a wide open guy underneath that would've ran in for the TD. I never root for injuries, so hopefully AJ will be OK. I'm not rooting for him to have success, but I don't want to see him get hurt.

September 10Sep 10 Not only did Doubs have that one horrendous drop, but he was the target who let the ball go off his hands that caused the 1st interception as well.Eagles fans would already have his head.Crazy to me that anyone even wanted him.Patriots definitely should have kept developing Boutte. Would be much better off.
September 10Sep 10 Anyone do a wellness check on @Mike030270 this morning? His beetch ass has me on ignore so I can't, but if someone else could make sure he's OK I'd appreciate it.

Others aren’t and just think top 5 QBs grow on trees. The golden era is long over…Stafford is the last remaining hold out and is fighting Father Time, when will it strike. All 32 teams have big ?’s about their QB position for the most part. Ranking QB’s right now is just good for clicks and views. Can Mahomes comes back from injury and stop his slide from ‘is he the GOAT’ to ‘great’ to ‘I guess he is actually human’ as he gets older and the magic fades. Burrow, can he stay on 2 feet? At this point with him, he’s made his own bed and he needs to lay in it. He has no place demanding a trade. Ya the Bengals FO is completely inept and has done a horrible job at drafting OL, but he’s the one who campaigned to have a significant portion of the cap tied up into 3 players. I’m not sure he’s in the ‘elite’ tier anymore.Allen is a weird one, you can say ‘he can’t get out of his own way’ all you want, but if he had even a mediocre D supporting him most years he has a ring or 3. He’s had a bit more talent around, but what he’s done in Buffalo is pretty similar to Elway in the 80’s. After that, I’ll swallow my pride a bit because he showed a very good trend towards being a real QB. Williams might be the closest to the next tier. Just a matter of if Johnson made him cry enough in film study and beat into his head to stay within the system enough for it to be consistent throughout the season. It’s kind of a tight rope walk….living in good enough QB purgatory and hoping for the stars to align, or wishing for greatness. Hurts has 2 prolific playoff runs where he wasn’t just sitting in the passenger seat, 1 of them netted a Lombardi and SB MVP. I’m not sure how long that extends the expiration date on his pass though. We can certainly do a lot worse.I said it last night, the sport has reached its development tipping point. These kids are over coached from the start through being recruited for college, where they’re turned into mercenaries by NIL and coaches just collecting the best athletes they can vs developing them. Having a truly elite QB is looking like it’s going to be an anomaly going forward.

I'm not even bothering with the Oz game - don't have Netflix or DAZN and can't be bothered to find a way to watch it.
