It's pretty sad that we had two 2nd half in-game injuries to Q against the Rams and M.Carter against the Jags that turned both games around. There's just so many different events in each game you can point to for why they lost. There's just some bad luck going on in the injury department. Still can't make excuses. Gotta have depth to cover that and that's a Howie issue.

Carter is the depth.

He was fine. Then got injured. Jones was the problem in dime.

Well, we will never know if he can play or not on the IR.

I think we know. I'm pretty sure that what we think about him based on what we have seen that deep down we all know.

I've never seen a team more in need of a Positivity Bunny in the locker room than this team right now.

Yeah….. I wouldn’t conflate those comments and restructuring his contract as "odd”.

Bad idea. You’ll just have Nick pet the bunny and you know what happens next?

Dead bunny, George.

I can see 2 scenarios where Sirianni gets the 🪓 after this weekend.

1) A Bears type of blowout loss as he gets booed out of the stadium, where they just start bad and don't look ready and fail to recover.

2) If he commits another boneheaded decision that is instrumental to another tight and gut wrenching loss.

Personally, I want this guy to succeed so the Eagles can succeed and turn around this season. I'm not a Sirianni hater like some. Just tired of his schtick and incompetence. If he's not serving the CEO role he now has effectively, it's adios amigos.

He's turned so negative recently. I don't think he has a press pass so how does he even know

😂, so Nick is Lennie? That's harsh.

The answer with Shane and Kellen was to lock Nick in a room and keep him away from the offense. If he can do that I'm fine with him staying....they may also need a situational assistant (Dom with an electric-shock glove)

So the Philly special documentary was on son and i watched it again. Like I remember being at the LA Colosseum when Carson wentz got hurt and Rodney peete was in the row in front of me. Just looked back at my brother and I saying that’s bad. I remember sitting in my seat and seeing on Twitter that it was likely an acl. Then walking out of the stadium and every rams fan laughing at the fact it was going to be foles the rest of the year and our season is over. I remember my brother on our drive back to Arizona that only could happen to us. Fast forward to end of the season, i think a good portion were crushed based off what we saw from the raiders game onward from foles. But when the ball hit Neal in the knee and landed into the hands of Torrey smith it felt like it was just our time. Then the next game was just perfection. Ultimately beating the patriots with just a roller coaster type game with some massively big moments. The emotional swings in that season.

Watched 40 years of Eagles football in my life. there’s been some teams I absolutely loved watching even when they didn’t win but gave me some awesome memories. Like the first nfc title game with mcnabb, 95 eagles, 04 eagles, the Jeff Garcia year, the 2013 season among some of them but whether they won the Super Bowl or lost the Super Bowl, that was my favorite teams to watch. I’m so happy for Nick and that group that they brought home that title.

Screw LA! 3-0 Brewers

Thought the Brewers were gonna blow it after taking out their starter when he was absolutely cruising on like 80 pitches, and then immediately giving up the lead.

I swear these coaches who rely solely on analytics make me want to vomit. There's just something so annoying about making an idiotic decision just because a computer model tells you to do it. Might as well bring in the humanoid AI managers.

Eagles not injured report:

Jordan Mailata

Makai Lemon

Jeremiah Trotter

Nolan Smith

I think that’s the biggest injury report I’ve ever seen

I appreciate LD's past contributions, but he should STFU and retire. He's been awful since last year, just hang em up before he gets a more serious injury

I remember long ago when it was first announced that he was going to IR and no one was sure if it was a phantom injury or what. I had some hope it was a real thing that he would be able to recover from. So, Im open to giving that a chance. It was always the best case scenario so lets not rule it out.

My hope is that he comes back, plays well, and brings a spark to this team.

I can't blame him for his comments. How would he know if they view him as the long term answer or if he too is on the trading block.

Howie is indeed unpredictable. His comment was more or less, "ask him".

I'll never understand fans that think they should decide for a player when he retires. People should play as long as they want --- even if they're just trying out for a roster spot, hoping to be part of a football team. They can decide for themselves when they no longer want to be a player. The typical window for playing professionally is somewhere between age 20 and age 40. Some can go a bit longer, but then that window closes forever and you can never do that again. So if you love playing football, you should attempt to play as long as you can --- even if it's just as a backup.

It should be obvious. Fans dont want a washed up player being a detriment to the team.

Id like to hear the audio of that Dickerson quote. You could read it as him being annoyed with the question and deflecting, or you could read it like he is in the dark and frustrated with the coaches.

And I gotta say, if it's the latter, that would be very hard to digest for me. The Eagles have been very kind to Landon, and it would make me wonder if he's completely delusional about his level of play over the last 1.5 seasons.

Maybe that explains why they've been playing like garbage, theyre not hungry anymore.

My self-admitted TATEr take is how off-putting it was when he brought beer out after one of the joint practice sessions, when he was injured and not even participating. Just dumb and unserious
