No mentioned of him in the report above

Especially Bennett and Calcaterra. Also have to consider Ertz is out of elevations so if he's in your plans that 5 spots you need to clear. EJ Jenkins is one. Elijah Moore could be another. Other than that, I don't really know.

Calcaterra/Stowers would be if you want to cut Jenkins and add one of them. I think Bennett is drawing dead to make the roster absent an injury.

I don't think they'd disrespect him and activate him just to sit on the bench or be inactive. My assumption, since they opened the 3 week window as early as the could, is that he is going to play sometime in the next 3 weeks.

LD was bad week 1, but then I saw something much worse with Jurgens at LG.

But there were not 8 starters out that game for Wentz, there were 5. And the starters that were out:Washed Jason Peters, Mailata started and remained the starter the rest of the yearBrandon Brooks - out for the year before the season started, Nate Herbig started the opener and had 3 starts by the time this game in week 4Jalen Reagor who suckedWashed DeSean Jackson. (WR was very valid as Fulgham and Hightower were starters. The WR group was awful all year.)The game log listed Zach Ertz as the starting TE and Dallas Goedert out. So it's counting Zach Ertz as a "backup."On O line Wentz had a much stronger and experienced group than Hurts had last week:Starting OT Lane JohnsonOG Nate Herbig, a 2nd year player who started all year since the season opener since Brandon Brooks was outStarting C Jason KelceStarting OG Isaac SeumaloBackup OT Jordan Mailata in his 3rd season, starting for the injured Jason Peters, who was washed, Mailata started the rest of the year and never looked backWentz also had not only his starting RB but his backup RBs as well. The offense scored 18 points, the defense scored a pick 6.The Eagles O line situation this past week was:Bell: a rookie 3rd round OT making his 2nd startSteen: 3rd year OG returning starter from last yearMajors: 2nd year Center, was an UDFA last year and on injured reserve, making his first start with little practice time, coming off the practice squad this weekLampkin: Short king Lampkin making his first start in the NFL, an UDFAMailataHurts had practice squad RBs called up because RB1, RB2 and RB3 were out. The team had no run game, rushing 18 carries for only 22 yards.Heading into the week, most fans said they would get destroyed by the Jags, it would be a bloodbath, predicting a blowout loss. Instead it was a close game with a makeshift backup O line (who played well considering), a starting TE who is about washed up (largely more injury than talent wise), scrub RBs pulled off the practice squad and missing your #1 WR. Not to mention a first time play caller trying to figure it out, Nick's bad decisions, and having to fly to London. And yet the offense had the game sealed up by scoring the go ahead FG with 8 seconds left.It will be interesting to see how things go when guys get healthy and the new starters gain experience.

Wish Dickerson could be back to his old self. I think he has no knee left and just can't move. If we can't hold the fort here in the next couple of weeks then we fold the tent. If we are looking better, then Howie, for the morale of the team and the big hole on that line has to do something. This guy is a hall of fame type talent and would immediately upgrade the running game on that side with Mailata. They would pound it. Very physical combination there. This team has 0 identity right now and could use a vet with leadership like that. I'm not just trading to trade. This is impactful for 3-4 Years (with an extension) with a pick that we got for Cam Jurgens. 😅 If you had no knowledge of that previous deal, would you trade Jurgens for Nelson? This is about acquiring real talent. Again, let's see what happens here in next few weeks in what is a lousy conference with a "Super Team" that's 2-3 and playing in a horrendous division. And a superbowl champ that has no running game that is not repeating. One yard a carry is not gonna cut it.

If we show promise then I'm open to a win-now trade like that. Currently, I'm not open to it, and if things continue going badly, we should pivot to selling instead of buying this season.

Their TE was Joshua Perkins, who had to replace Ertz. Lane Johnson was missing, and Brandon Brooks was carted off the field. Miles Sanders blew out his knee.He led them to a win against the Giants. That was when Boston Scott became the Giant Killer, scoring three touchdowns, and they won the division that day. This was a much better game to use for making your ludicrous point. The comparison is stupid because Hurts has also won games with backups and/or lesser talent. I agree that the backups shouldn't be a primary excuse for this loss, they did enough to win and pulled together. There were issues with play calling, O line, RBs, QB play, Head coach decisions, missed tackles, etc. etc. This thread is just CVON partisan groups with bias arguing with each other all day with extreme takes, bad logic, double standards, cherry picking stats, moving goal posts, straw man arguments, hyperbole and emotional overreactions.
