All that money they paid him for 1 season and he cant be bothered to take the long flight. This reminds me of what I heard last night that "Malik Nabers still hasn't decided if he's going to play Week 1."What??? Is he medically cleared to play or not? When did it become a thing where the player sits out because he's just decided not to play??

Dude checked out after game 4 with a winning team. This leaves a worst taste the more we see and hear about things after the fact. I'm still amazed how Howie scammed the Patriots in this one and AJ in a sense scammed them too in sterling a trade to his "childhood team" I think he is an overpaid slot WR these days. I wanted him to move into the slot last year. In the end, it's addition by subtraction, emotionally/psychologically as an offense. And even with his stats, they will be replaced seamlessly in spreading the ball in a Mannion offense and more targets for Devante.Let's be real. I was done with Pachullo by then too. When it was clear, he had no business being an OC in this league much less on a high school team. Would I have tanked a game? No but we weren't winning much with our OC.

But his conduct was unprofessional and childish and will not be missed, IMO. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

He better be ready and I hope this isn't a "He's a 1st rounder, so he's playing even if he's not the best option at this moment."Because if he struggles, benching him mid game for Cooper or Moore would not be great for his confidence and would just be a bad look.Btw: why bring Gipson back? He sucks, is a fumble machine. Was one of many baffling roster decisions from 2025 and it seems they want to go for round 2 of it this season. Last season was full of roster decisions that made zero sense, so hoping there will be no repeat of that this season. The whole operation last year just felt off.I think it is a "he's a first rounder so he's playing"I figure they'll lean heavily on Smith though as they should. We need answers if he can be the #1 or if he's just a great complimentary #2. Though commies may force Hurts to throw to someone else

He injured his knee almost a year ago. He's not returning to activities too early. My guess is that he may not trust the team doctors and trainers. It's also possible this is a bunch of Harbaugh created smoke screen to confuse the Cowboys.

And then they have the Bucs, Lions, and Eagles on their schedule this year. So he's going up against Wirfs, Sewell, and Malaita as well. That's 7 games right there where he might not get a sack. He's not getting 20 sacks this year. No way. It will be closer to 10 sacks. This just adds into what I’ve said in the off-season when they made that trade. It’s why I said it works out better for Cleveland for their long term and that rams have to hope Garrett is peak Garrett for next 2 years. Browns got draft capital and get the younger player who still has upside. Garrett only had one place to go. Unlikely he was going to continuously set a new sack record and be DPOY every year at 30 going on 31. At some point wear and tear would catch up.I don’t think he’s gonna fall off a cliff. I think yesterday was week one and I’ve seen plenty of times in week guys just don’t look good and then as a season goes on they’re great. I still think he’s gonna be great. I just don’t think he’s going to be defensive player of the year and new sack record for the Rams every year. He was at his complete peak last year. Hard to replicate that and he’s getting older. frankly, they probably don’t need him to be that with the guys they have along that defensive line and upgrades at cb. But if you’re paying that premium price to acquire him (and that was a premium price) you wanted to get that guy. Otherwise the upgrade if it is just a upgrade from verse to pro bowl and not all pro Garrett, i tend to think it wasn’t worth what you paid.I get why they did it with their window. They won’t admit it, but I also think part of this was they feared another team like the Eagles or another competitor getting him and putting them over the top. So this was to benefit them and also keep them away from a team that they might run into.Like I said, I don’t think he’s gonna fall off the cliff. I still think he’s gonna be great as the season goes on. I just think he’s probably going to be closer to 12 to 14 sacks as compared to what he had been doing with Cleveland. Which is still comparatively to the rest of league very good. But the Rams didn’t trade what they did to just get very good. They traded him to be the most dominant defensive pass rusher in the NFL. And if he’s not that, and he’s just very good, that was a large price to pay when Jared verse was actually good and gave up a nice package of picks as well to do it

I dont know how it changed that quickly. Maybe it was fake news cause now he might not be ready.
September 11Sep 11 I'll go 7 sacks for Garrett and doesn't play the full 17. Ironically, Jared Verse will eclipse that total and hit double digits. Also, do agree he will have tougher competition in that division and won't be able to tee off and binge with 3 sack games as per the usual, to stack his stats. I think people forget that he played on a Top 5 ranked stingy defense in Cleveland with Gym Shorts in the last 2 out of 3 years. This defense is not as good as the Browns overall.

Let's hope Mannion puts it all together!I think Stafford is just getting old, they drafted his replacement in the first. The Rams have been hyped and overrated for a couple years at least now. Will be interesting to see how they recover the rest of the season.I think McVay is overrated. However, he was able to get Jared goff to a Super Bowl. then Matt Stafford played at the MVP level last year. We can say whatever we want he came into the season with a back issue and put up MVP like numbers at 37 years old. I think he’s overrated because people put them on a pedestal like he is the greatest coach of this last decade. He’s not that. He’s a very good coach, but analyst make him out like he is one of the best all time. That’s annoying.I’ve said this for a couple years the thing that bothers me with their offense it’s too reliant on force feeding nacua or before him kupp. when Cooper kupp was there before they got Puka they just peppered the crap out of kupp. if you were able to slow down kupp it really messed with their offense unless you were just a bad defense or subpar. Better teams with good defense took advantage of that. They didn’t have great counters for it. It’s why in that Tampa Bay playoff game where they were down by a lot (27-3) that they managed to get back into that game. Don’t get me wrong. Rams had turnovers that helped along the way. But if you look to start the second half till their last possession, Cooper Kupp had two receptions for 16 yards. That’s when the lead evaporated. When things got dicey, Cooper Kupp had two catches for 64 yards in their final drive to get the field goal range. That’s basically what it was in the first half of that game.Kyren and Corum rotation is kind of bizarre. It’s random how they use them. And feels like neither get themselves into a rhythm and when they are about too they get yanked out. Corum is good at running the ball. He had a 5.1 yards to carry last year and last night he had a 5.4 yards per carry. he also doesn’t fumble the ball. Williams is also very good. Last night wasn’t as bad. He only had 3.7 yards carry but he had 4.8 last year. So both of them are competent running backs that I would say are both good. The problem Williams has is the coaches don’t fully trust Williams for what we saw the 2025 divisional round against the Eagles. He had fumbling issues in that Game and at times. I don’t think they fully trust him. Which goes back to if you don’t trust him why are you gonna pay him a lot of money? Especially since corum is cheap and they clearly like him and trust him. You could’ve saved the money on Williams put it to other areas to upgrade and gotten yourself a competent running back to go with corum at a cheaper price in the draft.Adams like HE said they don’t utilize him enough between the 20s. It’s largely nacua or bust. I haven’t even gotten into their tight end. They have like five of them on the roster or something. I don’t think any of them are very good. I keep reading Ferguson‘s gonna be a break out in Fantasy. I read he was out there I think for like 73% of their snaps in the first half. he did nothing. They got behind by a lot, which meant they were more passing opportunities. he only ran 22% of the routes by tight ends in the second half. Which feels like they saw something that didn’t bode well for him. I’ve not even touched on higbee. Who’s been there forever who’s been perpetually a mediocre tight end. I think the entire group is just mediocre and they just have a bunch of them. Clearly rookie klare isn’t ready.

September 11Sep 11 AJ is a POS that quit on a team trying to repeat. Hell, he was even whining in SB 59 just before he got his TD.Then that off season proceeded to announce that the championship didn't really mean anything unless he's getting his.F him. He didn't earn being remembered fondly, IMO.And I certainly hope they don't get ideas of making him an Eagle HOF in the future.I'll be eagerly pulling for Smitty to firmly pass him as the best Eagle WR of all time.
