Are the Jets kind of good or are the Packers just bad now?

Both

The first pick was incredibly awful but QBs will throw 5-15 picks a year.

These are the real problems as I see them:

  • The O-line not blocking at all.

  • The O-line penalties.

  • The hideous run on run downs and pass on pass downs and stupid bubble screen into heavy fronts offense.

    • McVay, Shanahan, and LaFleur don't run offenses like that.

Yeah, no, my hope vanished pretty quickly, Jurgens can't play anymore even without Dickerson near him.

I can see flashes of the Mannion offense, but geez, the Lemon play it's going to be my new nightmare replacing the screens for Julio Jones.

The defense set themselves up for success to just burn everything down the snap after a bit too often in the second half.

They were getting spanked with Williams in the game. Flores is a damn good DC

DeVonta is on a pace for 1445 yards.

AJ is on a pace for about 350.

That’s not fair. You know AJ is hurt. Bringing it back to the birds though. It sure does seem like they’re getting way more guys involved now that AJ is gone. I’ll add if Herbert was playing for the Eagles instead of Jalen, that’s a loss. You would also hear all of the media cry about the O-Line play and how his key players were out. Instead we will hear from Philly media how they should’ve won by more and trash the QB for two turnovers.

Packers thought they could ditch some good WRs, play without a good OL, and they are missing Parsons big time.

I'm just reading about it now. They were losing bad when It was halftime. Well anyways we still have a good shot next week.

Well that was exciting in the end but ugly. We should not be in a close game against the Titans which leaves me rather conflicted on where we are at this year.

Jalen was immense outside of the first INT. The OL is just plain bad. The defense hasn’t been good through 2 weeks. And so yeah I’m not sure how good or average this team is? But Jalen has been mostly very very good.

Most Eagles games feel way too close than they should be. I mean they dominated the first half and were only up by a touchdown.

I watched the whole game. It was played in mostly downpour.

Flores called a good game but the conditions made it a slopfest.

The Vikings only scored 9 on a D that gave up 37 last week.

Until that last drive. Lol

They are missing some pieces on the defensive side, but if Golden doesn't take a step forward their passing game will be ass. Especially with Jacobs out negating the run threat. Watson is a boom or bust guy, Kraft is coming off an ACL and Reed was stretchered off

Please, this was the titans and Salehes Super Bowl.

Huh...

Saleh has not lost to the Eagles till today and Titans have never lost to the Eagles till today.

Other way round::: Eagles had everything to prove by beating Saleh & Titans...

🤣

They have an excellent backup QB and the Eagles always struggle vs Drew Lock types.

I expect to win but nothing is ever easy here.

The conditions were terrible, but he still held them to 3 with Williams in the game for like 3 quarters.

methinks the latter....

He got hurt in the 4th quarter after scoring 3 pts all game.

It was the same last week too. They dominate the first half but the score doesn’t reflect that. And so when the inevitable offensive stalls come in the second half it bites them hard.

My issue with this team right now is the OL stinks and I’m not sure is going to get better unless Howie makes moves. The D isn’t carrying the team when we need them to. And too much feels like last year.

Jets did kind of beat up this team we just barely beat though.

I'm more concerned about their running game than the backup QB. Those running backs over there are beast.

We are two weeks in and we should expect it to be a little rough at least for the first month. Actually I’m a bit surprised at how the offense has performed on a positive and how the defense has struggled early so far at times.

Jurgens struggled at gaurd. He didn't have a great week 1, but normally if a player is injured the plan is to not move a player as you are then downgrading at 2 spots. To be fair, most of the o-line looked lost on the blocking scheme, didn't seem in synch and lacked the lateral agility for what was being asked of them.

If that is the case than it very well could be BOTH scenarios then....

How bad is the William injury. Are they certain he’s going to be out and another victim of the Madden curse?

What I meant to say is they got exposed lol

See I get what you are saying… but the offensive struggles are mostly OL. And the OL has been bad for a year now so I’m not sure I can give them the same "it’s still early” pass.
