The way to look at the rest of this year is as an investment for next year particularly with regard to the OL and the WRs.  If we can somehow win the division with say a 7-8-1 record and also get one playoff game it will really help this team get the O ready for next year.  With some luck we see most of these guys positively develop and then the offseason can be focused on the D.

This dude can play, bottom line. Love the way he aggressively goes after the ball when it’s in the air. Good hands, runs some sharp routes (on one of the sacks Wentz took, Fulgham had absolutely roasted his man on a double move and was open down the field). Alshon can stay out, I want to see this kid keep starting and see where he goes.

Why not? Heard good stuff about him at camp and goes ahead and shines on national TV. Watched the replays and even more impressed. Hell of a effort on that TD, tracked it, made the grab, acrobatic move to stay in bounds. And a plus blocker man. Good size, decent speed, and Mills said he didn’t drop a ball in camp (though I think there was one.) Go Travis. Keep rollin.’

RTR called it before anyone else.

Really the only reason to see Jeffery is to hope he'll play well enough that a WR needy team bordering on contention will feel desperate enough to swing a deal for him at the trade deadline.

Driscoll has a long way to go.  Probably needs two years to build lower body strength and sturdiness.   Pryor is a back up only.  Herbig i don't know.  Their run blocking is not encouraging.   The Aussie Destroyer has true promise.  Going to have to invest in offensive line in the draft, early.  Need a guard and center at least.

We have to get Reagor on the field getting lots of snaps. Hopefully he will be able to play tha 2nd half of the season.  Fulgham can play.  His hands are just so comforting after the drops we've seen the past few years.  Definitely not a body catcher.  It's almost encouraging to think of Reagor and Fulgham growing up together.

The C yes.  Let's see where the other guys are after they've played half a season.  Still have Seamalo and hopefully Brooks coming back next year as well.

I really don't see that happening. Teams know what he is capable of and I still don't think they'd make a move for him because bottom line that contract is way too large.

I know the sack and double move you mean. Possible TD there if wentz could have got rid of the ball.

We had a chance with the Texans but they fired O’Brien.

Good to see Fulgham had a good game making it 2 games in a role.  Wentz has developed the trust in him to throw to him.  The timing and chemistry should help them to continue making plays.

Noticed that the other top name WRs in the latest draft have all been making plays for their respective teams.  Due to injury, Reagor has not been making many appearances.  Hope he can be available soon and show his skills.

See I don't think it's that. I think what we are seeing now between them will continue until Fulgham does a few things that make Wentz think twice. And once that happens we may see Fulgham disappear from the stats.

At this point we need a really good right guard in the system as we cant count on Brooks.  Lane is headed in the same direction.   I think the time of drafting mid roumd guys and hoping we can coach them up is over.  Gotta have top tier interior linemen.

Herbig is doing OK though? I don't think this team can afford to draft a RB high.

Well we will have 11 more games (maybe 12) to see where these young guys are and a bit more info how far Brooks has come in his recovery.

True.  Brooks back next year makes bothe RT and C better no matter who they are.  I don't have confidence in Pryor.  Herbig does have potential.   It says a lot that he moved to LG when he is definitely a RG because Pryor can only play RG.

He's obviously more versatile than Pryor.  Of course no RB high, but interior offensive linemen high should be a priority

Wentz has mentioned how him and Fulgham had a sort of instant chemistry and right now he is the receiver that Wentz seems to trust most.  I expect Fulgham to see at least 10 targets vs BTL next week.  What we need to see from Fulgham is consistency.  Can he play at this level every game?  Now, I'm certainly not expecting him to put up a stat line of 10-152-1TD every game, just to keep making positive contributions in the pass game even if that means 4-60 with 3 FD receptions moving the chains and one play of 20+ yards.  Right now he's out best deep threat as he's more polished of a route runner and more of a hands catcher than Hightower.

As far as the OL, we are probably going to need to draft a couple OL players.  Kelce could retire after this season if it looks like we'll be in rebuild mode the next couple years.  He's exceeded his expectations and has won a Lombardi so not much else for him to prove at this point and he's been banged up the past couple seasons.  It's said the plan has been to move Seumalo to C, but would it be better to draft a C and keep Seumalo at G?  Can we count on Brooks after 2 major injuries?  And now Lane is banged up.  What do we have in Dillard?  Does he have the mentality to play at this level?  There's a lot of questions for this OL that need to be answered and soon.  Mailata needs to keep playing and getting reps.  It's the only way he'll really be able to improve and you can see what we have with him.  Can he be at least a solid starting LT or just a serviceable swing T?  His first 2 games have been encouraging, though.  Herbig has been decent as well and with more reps I think he'll become solid.  Driscoll needs time to develop more and get stronger, but he could be steady.  Pryor seems the weak link here.  We probably need a C and another OL who can play either G or T for more depth in case either of Brooks/Lane struggle with injury and can't play every game.  Unfortunately, we need a lot of positions filled/upgraded (at the least we need:  LB, CB, WR, DE, blocking TE, 2nd RB) so it's not like we can use the draft to load up on OL talent.  Maybe we draft one in the first 3 rounds and then another in the later rounds.

I agree with you.  We will certainly need to draft an OL or add one or two in FA.  What we can hope for though is that a couple of these guys make great strides during the year, one being Mailata.  If two of them can become solid players and we can get two of Kelce, Johnson, Brooks back and effective we'd have enough to go on and can prioritize the other positions.  We really need help with DE, LB, and CB.  At RB we should be able to get someone later in the draft or via FA that can be an effective backup.

I'm really hoping both Mailata and Herbig keep getting reps and continue to improve.  I think both can be at least solid starters with Mailata having the high upside.  He gets his technique down and he could be a special player.  Pryor I think should be better than what he is right now so I'm not counting on him.  Driscoll is a rookie and needs more training up and to build up his strength.  He's at least another season away from being a reliable starter.  My concern is Kelce retiring.  I think that'll be a bigger blow to the continuity of the OL than anything.

We need a compliment to Sanders at RB.  We have a 3rd down specialist in Scott and Clement hasn't been good since the SB season.  He hasn't gotten back on track after his injuries.  I'm OK with Scott just being a 3rd down option, but we need a RB2 behind Sanders.  If Sanders gets hurt our ground game is F'd.  Agree that we can draft one in rounds 4-5 or sign a FA for a fair price.  Don't need to use a high pick for that.
