Interesting observation by Zangaro, the Eagles waited a bit for their press conference following the Smith pick. The PR team sent a text saying they were ready to meet with reporters almost immediately after Kwity Paye went.

They drafted 1 WR last year who should amount to something and that's Jalen Reagor.  Watkins and Hightower are WR4 WR5 kind of guys.  Total lottery tickets.  I expect only one of them to make the team this year.

I've explained my thought process and it's hardly Madden.  It's surrounding your 2nd year quarterback with as many weapons as possible.

There are 3-4 VERY GOOD Tier 2 WR left in the draft with elite athleticism.  Elijah Moore was a top 20 guy for some of the experts.  If Rondale Moore was 2" taller, he's already drafted.

Yes, there are other positions that will help.  I think we can get safety help well in to the 5th round.  There will be O-lineman available in round 3 and 4.  CB is a serious need as well but the argument I'm making is that you make it as easy as possible for your quarterback to do his job.

We have potentially 3 first round picks next year.  We might be have Derek Stingley sitting there when we pick next year or a guy like Sevyn Banks.

Kelvin Joseph, JOK, Landon Dickerson, Richie Grant, Elijah Moore. 

After that there are some other guys I like, though. Samuel, Humphrey, Trey Smith, Mayfield, Marvin Wilson, Bolton, Molden, too many here in round 2

I've already said my piece on why I think they will take Trask with their 3rd rounder. May not like it with the 3rd rounder but I can see Howie panic and take him a round early

If you have Reagor, Smith, Goedert and Sanders and that is not enough weapons for your 2nd year QB, that isn't the right QB.

That 37th pick could bring a nice return if there's still 1st round grade players on the board. (Very likely).  A team could consider it a 1st round pick (in terms of value to them)  and be willing to give up their 2nd and a 3rd (maybe more) to move up.  If that's the case, do you do it?
