I think you're right and it's not like Parsons wasn't worth a top 15 pick.

You can get sidetracked and reply to whatever you want but the bottom line is that you’re dead wrong on the Eagles taking Devonte Smith there. Their was nobody better for the Eagles to draft at that point

Just put two and two together. Trash has the build of a Howie/Lurie QB. Our QB coach was Trask's OC last year and has first knowledge of his play and character. We have Joe Flacco on a one year deal. Howie and Nick have said they want competition battle at the QB position. I honestly can't beleive they meant Flacco and No Foles is not coming back. 

I may not like it but all the signs scream that Trash is on the board for the Birds and the 3rd round just makes sense.

JOK is weird...there is so much to love with his brain and athleticism, but there's a good bit of looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane in his game.  He's not the best tackler and he seems to get swallowed up when he's lined up at LB.  I think he could end up being a poor man's Troy P when all is said and done though.  You gotta take the good with the bad, because he does have some special play making ability.

I like Stevenson a lot too but Javonte is next level good.  If they land him at 37 I'd be THRILLED.  Behind Miles Sanders we have nothing.  Miles Sanders hasn't been healthy for a full year yet.

We need to keep in mind this is a 2-year minimum rebuild.  I said it earlier this morning.  Howie put all of his eggs in the Jalen Hurts basket.  If Hurts fails, Howie is gone.  I have a feeling Howie is going to load up on serious weapons for Hurts.

We have no idea what the defense is going to look like but we are getting an idea of Siriani's offense.  WR without actual positions and multiple capable running backs.  So far you have Smith and Reagor who can go all over the formation.  Sanders is the RB.

Behind those guys you have unknowns, question marks and JAGs.  Even Reagor and Smith come with questions.

JJAW- he's the lowest WR on the chart. 

Ward- underwhelming but steady slot WR.

Watkins/Hightower- 2 lottery tickets taken at the end of last years draft.  Only one of them(Watkins) should make the 2021 roster.

Fulgham- Total enigma.  Is he WR1 or WR4?

Scott- JAG 3rd down back.

Howard- used and abused good for 2-4 carries per game.  Goal line back.

 

I hear a lot of we are loaded at WR now but just having guys on the roster doesn't mean they are loaded.  Same goes for RB.

Howie should get as many playmakers as possible around Hurts so he has the best chance at success as possible.  

The way the draft is falling, the best players available at 37 very well could be WR and RB.  Take BPA.  Build and offense full of young elite athletes to make life easy for Hurts.  If you have Javonte Williams, Elijah Moore, Rondale Moore or Terrace Marshall sitting there at 37, take one of them.

Get a CB in the 3rd, OL in the 4th, Andre Cisco in the 5th.

2021 will be a chance for Gannon to see what he has on defense (not much).  Come 2022 with 3 first round picks you load up on elite defensive talent.

I don't disagree, it makes sense that Team QB Factory will be looking for more raw materials.... but I also hope not.

Next year, armed with 3 1sts (optimistically), including our own very high pick, they should have an opportunity to get somebody.  I'm assuming some of the prospective QB prospects emerge this year in CFB.

I agree 4th round is where he should go. Just have a feeling Howie panics and takes him 1 round early. 

Interested to see if Howie was telling the truth when he said they are drafting for value as opposed to filling positional needs. Samuel and someone like Campbell could easily be high value on their boards but in my opinion JOK, Barmore, and Jenkins would be better value. Super excited for 37, so many good players on the board.

So you acknowledge it's at least a two year rebuild yet want to spend the 37th pick on a running back that will be useless after their four year rookie contract expires.  Makes total sense.
