Thank you.  That's my #1 issue with how this team drafts.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

1. There’s no way to make a definitive answer one way or the other on Hurts. Anyone doing so is not being honest or objective.

2. At this point, the team has made enough moves, as well as lack of moves, to show Hurts will be the QB. They also reportedly are split on him and explored options, but he will have his opportunity.

3. Maybe Jemal Singleton can develop his game to the next level.

Optimism is a good thing, and what's best for the franchise right now would be for Hurts to ball out this season so the 3 first round picks next year can be spent adding blue-chip positional players ..... but there were a lot of late throws to the middle of the field -- especially downfield, too many runs, and a lot of fumbles.

Hopefully Hurts and Smith form a dynamic duo

Like I said - You can't just look at it in a vacuum. Given circumstance he performed like a star.

This ain´t optimism. Hurts is a franchise QB and we are lucky to have him.

OHHHH casual Roger Goodell!  fancy

I want a bigger WR, but I like St Brown. No issues with drafting him. Good slot who can play outside too.

Agreed, I dislike our wide receiver core quite a bit. I only liked Fulgham as the holdover and he's a question mark. I'd happily take St. Brown today. Another couple slot types I like, Shi Smith, Whop Taylor. Terry is still there, Camp would be a decent late round bigger bodied player.

It is funny to see all the reporters having a stroke about not taking a CB. If it wasn’t clear before, it is now - we aren’t trying to win in 2021. 2021 is about one thing and one thing only - determining if Jalen Hurts is the long term QB. Other than that, we are simply taking the best value on the board. Dickerson’s medical history concerns me, but I love the Williams pick. Both guys hopefully step in as starters in 2022.

3 first round picks in 2022 to either get a QB or fill out a team around Hurts. The secondary is going to have to wait until next offseason.

Completely agree with this.  I am ok with the draft so far.  I may be the only one who thinks our 2nd round selection is the best so far.  I get the injury history, but I sort of think the team is due for one of these injury risk situations to go in our favor.

Exactly, and it's why our roster is razor thin with no up and comers. Day two has been an abysmal failure year after year. It's the meat and potatoes of building your team and howie chooses a few gangly string beans instead.

Being in last place with a barren low talent roster finally overtook this team last year. And we will be in the basement for who knows how long. Our division got much better this offseason and we were already in last place. It's going to be a long three years to see where we are. And watching Eric Berry looking like a genius in Cleveland is like rock salt being scrubbed into an open wound.

And why would we bench Seumalo, Kelce or Brooks

He should be an upgrade over Seumalo based on talent. If he's not then it's a bad pick.

I don’t believe so...but I will be rooting for him.  He’s got a year to show me I’m wrong.  Hope he does

Wade really was considered a fringe 1st rd pick, then DeVonta Smith happened to him.

I wonder if Tay Gowan makes it to our pick. Apparently he shined at the Senior Bowl practices.

Pick 107 has one minute left and they didn’t even announce pick 106 yet. Seems about right

no harm Jax.

I think Dickerson sees most of his action in 2021 spelling off at G, but he'd also be first one in if Kelce goes down.  2022 is where he'll be a full time starter.

We need him in the worst way. If we don’t trade up from 123 I would be surprised. We have 500 picks today and Ertz.

A DL run to start RD4 would be much appreciated. Would gladly take a WR run too.

I'm not sure he'll play at all coming off a torn acl in December 2020.

Wentz tore his on December 10th, and played week 3. It can happen.

Awesome pick by Douglas. Not surprisingly. Jets are on the right track...  Good GM over there with a direction.

Really wish the Jets would taken a different QB, otherwise they're doing well in the draft again.

Gowan, Cox, Shakur Brown, Jamar Johnson, Barnes, Trey Smith, Weaver, Wiggins, Tre Brown. Give me 3 of them.

Yeah it can but he's a rookie and unless there are injuries they may just let him fully recover.

Sure, but that's a different thing entirely. I'm just saying, the timing of his ACL shouldn't be the reason he won't play.

Are we spoiling picks today?
