Sirianni must like what he’s seen from Hightower and Watkins, at least a little bit — no WR picks at all after Smith

I don't think it matters what he thinks.  It's Howie's final call.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

If I remember correctly, Stevens cut weight to try to improve his workout numbers to stay at S.

Likely no room for a day three guy to make the roster.

At least 3 players on that list are irrelevant, likely 4.

not sure where Les sees these measurements but maybe he is already at LB weight

He’s looking at the LSU website. Senior bowl he was 216 and pro day was 212

Tamorrion Terry can be a gunner. He’s worth a pick.

I dont know what some of you are smoking.  "Best draft in years"?????

we will be lucky to get 3 actual hits in this draft. Smith, Milton and maybe Gainwell.

Well wait- to be fair getting 3 out of 10-11 picks would be an improvement over Howies last 5-7 drafts....   Still way to little.

Howie gambles way too much, and it RARELY works out

Damn Cowboys get Mukuamu with a sixth round comp pick. That's disgusting.

But there's no players in the late rounds...

Trill

Toney

Terry

Vincent

thats my main list for the last pick. Then some other guys to watch out for on UDFA market.

Hightower is terrible.  Just a bad football player.

I hope Watkins can be our #3.

Yeah Watkins definitely has more upside especially with his RAC ability. Hightower is a one trick pony who’s one trick isn’t anything special.

yep. theres a nice ST play on one of his highlight vids. Let him make the team as a STer and gain playing time at WR as he improves his routes. Guy can be a steal in a year or 2.

OK this is going to sound negative to you but there are probably at least 5 WR taken today that could take the spot of at least one of Ward, Hightower, Watkins and JJAW.

This roster is full of room.  Siriani also said how much he loved competition.   No one behind Smith and Reagor should be safe or a lock.  I would have welcomed another WR today.

JJaw vs. Hightower winner takes all (remaining roster space)

To that from Dane bruglar

A three-year starter at LSU, Stevens was the free safety in former defensive coordinator Bo Pelini’s scheme, previously lining up at outside linebacker, box safety and dime back. As the team’s undisputed leader as a senior, he was awarded the No. 7 jersey and led the team in tackles in 2020, but his effort and attitude were sporadic. He runs the alley with conviction and loves to thump, although he needs to improve his downhill discipline and eliminate the missed plays. He has adequate ball skills in coverage, but the deeper he plays, the more ineffective he becomes. Overall, Stevens is a linebacker in the body of a safety and often the toughest player on the field, but he is a complicated study because of his tweener skills and uneven play. He projects as a box player and special-teamer.
  GRADE: 6th-7th Round

You weren’t impressed with him doing a wheelie on a bicycle?

Nathan Gerry 2.0

Better coverage skills than Gerry.

They do attack weaknesses and get talent that's for sure.

It’ll be interesting to see who the back 7 starters will be...

He was out for over a year and a half BUT over 1K yards the year before. he is a very nice player at a nice size of 6'4 around 205 pound range.

They are idiots drafting LBs and idiots drafting low character guys. But man, they got a steal with Mukuamu.

Not sure you could draw any conclusions.  So many needs, so few picks.

I'm not a Howie fan. However, to say this wasn't a good draft...well I don't know what to tell you.

Last pick for the Eagles coming up shortly.

Edit: Barring a Zach Ertz trade, that is.
