Weird thing I've noticed about this draft - Teams are double and triple dipping into the same positions a little more than usual.

Was really hoping for Yeboah.

This was a stacked tight end class and we didn't touch it while also not trading Ertz.  That tells me he's here for 2021.

Patrick Johnson is a good player, but a "tweener". Too small for DE, too slow for LB.

Over the last 5 years the only REAL LB the Eagles have taken were Joe Walker in round 7 of 2016 and Shaun Bradley last year in round 6.

There are some that feel like every Dallas draft pick is a great pick and now the Eagles are in trouble.

I disagree.  Kyle Pitts, Hunter Long, Pat Freiermuth  Brevin Jordan, Noah Gray, Tommy Tremble and Yeboah are all very good prospects IMO.

It's clear Howie embraced the rebuild and I'm thankful for that. We got excellent value. We could have forced need picks at DB but when you do that, chances are you don't end up addressing the hole all that much. Yes our secondary is going to get torched this year but so be it. The goal was to get as many good young players as possible, not make the playoffs. We don't know if we've done that but we've got a good chance. A lot of great value picks.

So typical Howie, smarter than the rest of us.  Drafts a player that prefers DT as a DE, drafts a S as a LB and an off ball LB that produced primarily as a rusher at 240 to be, what? a SAM?  Bad DL draft and grabs 3 1/2.  One of the deepest slot WR drafts and grabs none.  Deep CB draft and grabs one at the shallowest position on the team. I understand it is a rebuild but......

At least this year we can say they didnt reach for picks with the exception of McPhearson.

Still some players Id love to add in UDFA that could help if they last.

I don’t call it deep. Pitts is an X WR, Hunter and Pat are your two best all around TE’s. The rest are either great blockers and mediocre pass catchers or vice versa.

Based only on 40 time, it seems he’s fast enough for LB.

Completely agreed. Still some CBs on the board I’m surprised are still there. There’s gonna be a few priority UDFA’s for the Eagles.
