I do know this. If we pick anymore receivers in the first going forward we might as well have Matt Millen for our GM

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The Sixers should lock it up tonight.  I hope we play Boston in the playoffs.  I would be more content if Brown was playing too so there are no excuses but I would be happy to spank them 4-1.

I guess if agholor could have caught the ball a little better though he could have done pretty well here.

Honestly without agholor we don’t win a super bowl but really we miss out on these two things as well.

At the very earliest, 3 drafts from now.  Although that would suck because that means the Smith/Reagor pairing did not work out.

Also, Nelson Agholor was pretty much a top 5 receiver in all site rankings, and was talked about as a potential top 15 pick.

Reagor was ranked 10th plus in quite a few rankings, and was primarily discussed as a second round pick.

Reagor was a reach, plain and simple, especially when the best WR in the class was on the board when the Eagles went on the clock.

"Best WR in the class" was the 4th WR taken and had a HOF-level OC, an NFL caliber QB, and a top-2 running game in the league. And played across from Adam Thielen. Yes, Jefferson was spectacular, but comparing him to Reagor after 1 season given all Reagor had to deal with as a rookie is and always has been stupid.

I will probably try to watch some playoff Basketball if I can find it. I hope the 6ers go all the way, but I just can't stand regular season basketball anymore.

Absolutely, his best year as an Eagle.

i dont know wtf to make of the Watson allegations. it sure seems like it is probably a hit job by the owner...or at least a coordinated money grab. or he might be a huge scumbag.

i can certainly understand the interest - could be a buy low on a quality qb - but you better be damn sure the allegations are false...

So you think the owner of the Texans is paying a lawyer to frame Watson for sexual misconduct that, if he is found civilly liable for, may have significant impact on his playing time on the field?

It is basically a 3 point contest now.  I like it more now that the Sixers are playing well but nothing will ever compare to early 90's ball.

"Haters"?  What are we, 12?  I don't hate Reagor and/or think he's a bust.  I explained it in an earlier post.  I don't believe I have seen anyone who has called him a "bust" or are his "haters".  It's not his fault Lowie reached for him.  What he can control is how he portrays himself on social media and how he works at his craft.  He hasn't done well, so far in those two areas.  But one would suspect the FO would have done their job to see that before they reached for him.

That is my fault.  I tend to exaggerate my points.  I will take the L on this one.

I also love post play.  Maybe because that's all I could do.  Little to no skill, a lot of effort and elbows

Unless your Hakeem, Duncan or Dirk.

I proclaimed him the best WR in the class before the draft.  So did several posters on this board.

Secondly, the Vikings had the 5th most yards per game rushing in the league, behind Baltimore, Tennessee, Cleveland and New England.

The Vikings 142.7 yards per game are only 16 more per game than the Eagles.

Justin Jefferson was a pro ready receiver, who can run the entire route tree from all positions, and would have made the QB's job so much easier.

Maybe Howie should draft pro ready players, instead of trying to be the smartest guy in the room.

I know he’s had better statistical games but I’d argue his super bowl game was his best as an eagle. He had clutch catches on that game winning td drive.  9 catches for 84 yards

Bugs the ish outta me when big men shoot 3s. Drive the friggen lane and jam that baby home. But that's not the way anymore

Would you hire him for your team to be a starter?

I'd rather have Kaepernick backing up Hurts than Flacco, to be honest.

He's crazy if he thinks he should be hired to be a starter, but I think he could be a valuable #2 for many teams.

Yeah it is so different but you can't blame the bigs.  If you don't shoot a certain amount of 3's these days, you lose the game.

Yep.  I love old school basketball.  Not enough running for me.  I also love post play.  Maybe because that's all I could do.  Big body with little to no skill, a lot of effort and elbows.  Pointy elbows.

I was a point guard 30 billion years ago in high school (just before the 3 point line came into being. I love dishing the ball to the big men and defense (had very quick hands and feet

Pats, Ravens, and Eagles rushing numbers inflated by Newton, Jackson, and Hurts. Obviously. Dalvin Cook was basically unstoppable all season. I'll give you Tennessee and Cleveland as comparables.

Point remains, he was in an ideal situation. Reagor clearly wasn't. Kubiak and Cousins look like Walsh and Montana compared to 2020 Pederson and Wentz. Add in Dalvin Cook? Apples to oranges.

Those guys had a ton of skill.  I loved Hakeem's game.  Loved it.  Great little jumper, can run the floor.  Heck of a defender.  I would put in my fav 5.

As a matter of fact my favorite starting 5 (1 bench guy) to compete in any era.  Not saying it's a slam dunk....but I would go with this crew.

C- Wilt

PF- Hakeem

SF- Doc

SG- Curry

PG- Jordan

Bench- Pippen (great defender, can run point and shoot)

I would go with this team, I think they would gel with the skill sets they have.

C - Hakeem

PF - Barkley

SF - Anthony Mason ( one of my favorite NBA players of all time )

SG - Ray Allen

PG - Magic

Bench - Klay Thompson ( more shooting, can never have enough shooting )

Not saying they are all the best at their position, but would gel and work very well together.  And a little personal favorite bias.

Just in time for the nba playoffs

I excluded Barkley just not to show my favoritism towards him.  And I hated Mason....hated him.  Hated the Knicks.

Barkley is my favorite player of all time.

Mason was ahead of his time as a point forward, and intimidated the crap out of people.

I remember after a Knicks score, he shoved Shaq in the back out of bounds, Shaq spun around like he wanted to go, saw it was Mason, and just inbounded the ball and went about his business.  Didn't want any part of that.
