When victims of sexual assault report crimes they face more risk of punishment than those they accused.   Even if all of them went to the police there is a high likelihood the police would have done very little to investigate.  I mean the statistics are pretty telling.  https://www.rainn.org/statistics/criminal-justice-system

How many go on to sue the accused?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

He’s the one i can’t stand on that warriors team. He runs his mouth like he was the best player or even second best player during those championships runs. Legitimate before KD got there he was the 3rd best player and when KD was there the 4th but runs his mouth like he’s as good as curry and KD.

i don’t love the warriors. But i can at least respect curry and Klay Thompson. Fascinating that the warriors nearly gave up on curry due to his ankle issues. He was nearly dealt to Milwaukee but last minute Milwaukee pulled out of the deal. They’d have Giannis and curry right now if they didn’t

Yup Draymond is a turd.

I'm by no means a warriors fan they've crushed the jazz hopes too many times but I always respected curry and Klays games and on the field and off court demeanor, both are silent assasins.

Where as Draymond is just a loud mouth wannabe riding Curry's and Klays coat tails.

This is my point. Curry is great. Curry is not on the same level as KD. He's a hall of famer, all-star, etc. He is not an all time great.

Where did i say Steph was on the same level? I said draymond believed he was as good as KD or Steph on those teams. KD is second best player on the planet behind Lebron imo. Steph is still a HOF type player. I’ll bet you he gets in first ballot. I’d take Steph curry over Steve Nash and people rave about Nash.

It's easier to prove guilt in civil court rather than criminal court, and in a civil court most the time victims aren't going to take the stand and be cross examined or scrutinized.

It's an unfortunate bi product of our current legal system that doesn't always treat the victims of crime fairly.

It's an unfortunate side effect of our criminal judicial system.

it is definitely easier to win in a civil suit and that doesn't make him guilty. So I'll stick with I think it's a scam.

Eh...one more and I'll stop with Curry. But Curry and Klay are hardly classy guys. They both melted down like whiny little punks in the 2016 finals, especially Curry with the mouthpiece fling. I don't find Curry pretending to poop on the court funny or cute -- it's insulting to the game.

Draymond is a good 3rd/4th piece on a contender but as #2 or #1 option, that team would stink.  I just pray Ben does not turn into Draymond.  A couple more years of not shooting and he will be.

This one might be worse than the Ewok. Imagine paying $100 for Howard Eskin to talk to you when you can call in his dumpy radio show and talk to him for free.

He is 100% a 1st ballot guy. No argument. I just can't take the people who try and tell me that he was better than KD, on par with LeBron, Jordan, Magic, etc. Living in CA and having family in the Bay Area, I heard that all the time. Curry is better than LeBron and KD! yeah...no

Ive loved klay Thompson’s game since he was at wazzu. His game isn’t fancy and he’s a hard nose defender that doesn’t get enough credit on that end that he should. It’s amazing he went to wazzu and not a bigger school. Sucks he has had the acl then the Achilles. I’m not sure he ever returns to what he was prior. He has a ton of miles on him from all those deep playoff runs back to back to back to back to back.

Players these day are not nearly as likeable as players in the past.  Steph, Lebron, etc.  They act like babies all the time and they get every single call.  If you pretend you got hit in the face and hold your head when the other player didn't even touch you (I am talking about you Lebron), its hard to respect you.  These guys would be laughed off the court 20-25 years ago.

(old man rant over)

I'd pay 500 bucks to punch the ewok in the face. But he would probably kick my arse afterwards

I’d never say that. He’s not. He had a much better roster than Lebron had in those finals even the one they lost i thought draymond kicking Lebron in the jewels led to their downfall. However tbh i think if Kevin love and kyrie didn’t get hurt in the final before that then the cavs likely would’ve won. They went 6 games with The original Australian sensation in delly as their second best player for the majority of that series.

If you were telling me players from 2010 til now in terms of who I’d take over him it would likely only be KD, lebron, Kobe, wade, Giannis (i believe if he played with klay he’d also win a title), Kawhi and Tim duncan (granted he wasn’t what he was in the 2000s). I’d say harden but i think harden chokes way more in the playoffs. It really turned me off the year he lost to i believe the Spurs down like 2-3 players cause he didn’t show up. I’d say embiid if he continues to play like this for 4-5 years.

I don't remember that but outside the jazz I don't watch much NBA,

In fact I don't watch much NBA any more, Its turned into a glorified 5 on 5 fast break no defense 3 point contest, kind of like how the NFL has turned into a no defense fast break Scoring contest 👎

Harden is the hardest call from your list. Russ has the stats but...no thanks.

The harder call -- Chris Paul. I just really can't evaluate him, but his teams are always better with him.

Agree with the 2015 finals take. It's almost absurd that a team with Delly as the 2nd best player took them to 6 and was up 2-1. LeBron was super human in that series and should have been MVP.

"I just think by a year from today he’ll have a new home. This is a gut feeling. It’s impossible to predict the future with so many legal issues involved. And depending on the outcome of the cases, several teams might not want to even think about Watson, and rightfully so. If he’s free to play football unencumbered by legal issues in 2022, here are my odds on Watson’s next football team, with a tie at the top:

3-1: Philadelphia. A likely need, plus Eagles are in perfect position to deal with three first-round picks (if Carson Wentz plays three-quarters of the Indy season).

3-1: Carolina. Owner David Tepper would find the resources to do a deal.”

Any interest in bringing them back?

I know he’s had better statistical games but I’d argue his super bowl game was his best as an eagle. He had clutch catches on that game winning td drive.  9 catches for 84 yards

3 straight first down catches. Though that 3rd one irked some going out of bounds. One of his more critical grabs came on our opening drive of the 2nd half. On a 3rd down, he spun out of a tackle and ran for a first down which ultimately led to the Clement TD. The Pats scored to open the 3rd. Who knows where the momentum goes if we open that drive with a 3 and out? Huge play by Agholor.

As an A's and Eagles fan, would make it easier that they play in the same city.  Might expedite my move to Philly after daughter graduates and grand daughter gets older and can travel.

Harden would be ahead if he didn’t no show in playoff games when his teams needed him. Not that Steph always showed up but I’ll never forget harden in an elimination game taking like 2 shots in the first half and not showing up against a team missing players. I think there’s an argument but I’d take curry over him just cause i prefer his shooting over harden.

paul is awesome. It’s unfortunate he hasn’t gotten to the wcf or an nba finals. I think if he got to a nba finals or even won a title people would look at him completely different. Heck his career would have gone much differently if David stern didn’t block the trade to the lakers.

He was great in all of those series. Unfortunately kyrie is injury prone and diva. And Kevin love was never the same player in Cleveland as he was with Minnesota. Frankly i think he put up a bunch of meaningless stats on a bad team. He was a good player that had phenomenal numbers on a bad team. Not that grant is close to the player love was but grant is doing that this year with the pistons.

Heard the main two places that would be vying for them are going to be Brooklyn and Nashville. I think Vegas would make sense as it keeps them in the AL wear and no movement of the divisions.

I posted link to king’s article yesterday and what he said. I think he was more stating this wasn’t happening til 2022. I’d be surprised if eh was moved before that unless we get to July or august and he gets cleared of everything or the legal Issues are gone. But i firmly believe if he is cleared and has the legal issues behind him that the eagles fully go after him. There’s been multiple reports that they were prior to this.

Well my other moving after life stuff option is the Phoenix area ( my wife's preferred destination ).  Only a couple hour drive to Vegas.

Just realizing now why Colt Brennan was being discussed.  Sad to hear.  He was fun to watch at Hawaii.
