I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Still plenty of good choices for OC. Steichen, Hamilton, McCoy. I was only interested in Lynn as RB coach anyway. DC is the difficult hire.

I’d love to get Hamilton. Give him a ton of credit for helping Herbert be as good and prepared as he was this year as his qb coach. Also a lengthy history working with the qb position.

They played a 4-3 in Indy.

I thought a team hired him already or he was about to be hired by another team

Gannon also spent 4 years as a scout. No idea what made him switch to coaching but that’s a potentially nice thing to have in your back pocket.

Do we also get Leonard in the transaction? 🥺

Yup. It’s in the amended rules they did earlier in the spring. Made it so 2 minority interviews for head coach, 1 for any coordinator/GM role

Based on nothing but the importance of Leonard to that defense, my guess is we will value that position quite a bit more.

And yet i have some strange feeling that Nate Gerry somehow finds his way back here next year...

Gotta think niners and colts are atop of the list. Also putting this out there kind of feels like the lions are hurting their trade value and likely trying to get one of the top QBs in this draft. Might have to move up from 8

If the Niners get him, they're my pick to win the NFC next season. They'd be up there anyway, they were decimated with injuries. They'll bounce back.
