It has so far been found in 49 states with Nebraska being the only state to not have a Mu variant case detected. Health officials believe Mu is even more transmissible than the Delta variant and has the potential to resist vaccines. In the US, the mu variant has been detected in 49 states and the District of Columbia, according to Newsweek. What is the Mu coronavirus variant, and should Hong Kong be worried? 6 Sep 2021 California has reported the highest number of the latest variant with 384. A total of 167 of those cases were found in Los Angeles County. "The identification of variants like Mu, and the spreading of variants across the globe, highlights the need for LA County residents to continue to take measures to protect themselves and others,” said Dr Barbara Ferrer, director of LA County Public Health, in a statement. "This is what makes getting vaccinated and layering protections so important. These are actions that break the chain of transmission and limits Covid-19 proliferation that allows for the virus to mutate into something that could be more dangerous.” Stringent measures protecting Hong Kong from possible Mu variant risk: minister 4 Sep 2021 On August 30, the World Health Organization called the Mu variant a variant of interest due to its ability to be more transmissible than any of the other strains of Covid-19. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention has not yet made similar classifications about mu in the US. Dr Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said that health officials were maintaining a "close eye” on the Mu variant despite it being "not at all even close” to becoming the dominant Covid-19 strain in the US. "Even though it has not in essence taken hold to any extent here we always pay attention to at all times variants,” Fauci said. The US saw its peak of Mu variant cases in mid-July but case numbers involving that variant have been declining since, signalling either a weakening of the strain or indicating a worrisome future.
September 7, 20214 yr Our youngest son is now COVID positive as of yesterday morning. He's experiencing mild-to-moderate symptoms. Obviously he's now out of school for at least 10 days. We reported it to the school but I don't even know why. Texas doesn't allow schools to do any contact tracing or inform the rest of the parents of a positive test. What an absolute disaster...

Your logic is flawed in so many ways. im still waiting for you Twatterface reporter to post the source info confirming 2% because I haven’t seen anything remotely close to that. The friggin health dept said 70% and they have this critical information called the facts that they derived from the actual stats and data. the only thing being smeared here is the crap you have your face from changing Don’s diapers. But maybe this will be the moment you STFU and let your betters speak. (Unlikely) Look how emotional Riot Kitchen gets when the MSM gets caught making up two fake news stories about a drug within a 24 hour period. Snot bubbles everywhere.
September 7, 20214 yr Well this is certainly interesting. Keep in mind that Fauci flat out lied when Rand Paul called him on this months ago. Disgusting little worm.
September 7, 20214 yr Great piece on why the media and ishlibs ate up the hoax news story about Ivermectin. May have a little to do with belonging to a cult. I'll stop there, I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

It's over now. You fell for the hoax, and there's nothing wrong with that. Some people still cling to the idea that the msm isn't just fake news.
