What a POS. Brazenly undermining state rights.

You would have been such a fine citizen during WWII - probably complaining about stuff like this:  President Franklin Roosevelt created the Office of Price Administration in August 1941. Its main responsibility was to place a ceiling on prices of most goods to prevent wartime price gouging, and to limit consumption by rationing.Supplies such as gasoline, butter, canned milk and sugar were rationed so they could be provided for the war effort. Many people got three gallons of gas a week. The people here were standing in line for sugar, the first and last commodity that was rationed. The allocation was half a pound a week, half of what Americans typically consumed.

Similarly, here its a public health crisis -- the gov't steps in.

Despite what right wing news and libertarians try to tell you, we live in society.  There are things we all need to do to contribute, with or without incentives by the gov't.

Yeah the FDA are also not the ones doing that type of research.

You're missing the point now. Addressing reasonable concerns by authority, by the news, and in general should not make out others to be a mockery and create more division. They should try their best to be understanding and helpful.

If the left's argument to that is "well they do it too" then they can't claim the moral high ground. I don't care who started it first either. The well being of people is not to be a joke, exaggerated, or a stone left unturned. It should be open, honest, and encouraging

Florida’s Covid death toll was 1200 people yesterday.  Biden is trying to save lives.

Personally speaking, I've tried and it was mostly fruitless. Outside of maybe one or two people in mine and my wife's family, I don't know that I helped convince anyone else who was on the fence to do the right thing and get vaccinated. Almost everyone who hasn't been vaccinated by now doesn't give a flying F about making the obvious choice for their own health so they sure as ish aren't gonna do it out of consideration for anyone else's. It's been 20 months of this stupidity and selfishness, and I'm kinda over it. So now it's time to have some fun and call out this utter idiocy for what it is. No more sugarcoating.

You need global coverage. It isn’t enough just to vaccinate one country.

Lock the borders.

There are reputable doctors prescribing it down in Florida, and with excellent results.  Certainly not an excuse to be careless with dosage, but if somebody is sick and there are treatment options besides going to the hospital and getting intubated, you get treated.  With all the bashing I gave Biden on his outrageous speech yesterday, I do credit the administration for promoting monoclonal antibodies (Regeneron) as part of its plan.  This is something that DeSantis is way ahead of the curve on in Florida.  People down here can get treated at no cost with Regeneron if they test positive.

Regeneron is $1.5k/dose. A vaccine is $14. Pretty clear that Desantis is so crooked he can’t lay in bed straight.

These 2 things are mutually exclusive. Being in Florida by definition means a doctor is not reputable.

There are actually a ton of good doctors down here.

New Jersey is an embarrassment to the mid-Atlantic. Florida is an embarrassment to the entire country.

It's like being champion of the Big 10 vs. being National Champion.

Dude, you’re from Delaware. The lamest state ever. Was Florida Man your Boy Scout Troop Leader or something? Your hatred for Florida knows no bounds. California used to be great, but when you walk down the street you’re dodging more piles of ish on the sidewalk than a Sudanese kid walking through a mine field. New York used to be where it’s at, but hipster millennials took over Brooklyn and Manhattan is full of upper middle class people who would have gotten eaten alive in the 80s by either criminals or other upper middle class people. Where the F else you gonna go? Texas? It has Florida heat, but no beaches. Also if you knock some broad up there you’re out child support for 18 years. Seattle? No thanks I like people who bathe. Boston? Great city if you’re not a minority who doesn’t like to be the victim of hate crimes. Chicago? Might as well be Kabul.

Face it, Vikas. All those places you used to put up on a pedestal exist in those ways only in your mind. There’s no more California Dreaming. There’s no more Dorsia. There’s no more.

Please don't confuse West LA, Beverly Hills and Bel Air with San Francisco. We pay to keep the poors out.

And I hate NYC, Boston, Seattle and Chicago. NYC = rat infested hell hole. Boston = bunch of racist Irish jerks. Seattle = it's the less awful version of Portland. Chicago = worst weather on the planet. Still, in none of those places do people routinely try and eat other people's faces while high on bath salts.

I’d live in Boston over LA. And it’s not close.

In Florida, there are treatment centers where you can get Regeneron for free.  If you're in bad shape and you can't or won't wait to get treated or are otherwise not in a position to drive to a treatment center, you can pay the full boat.

Oh big deal, one isolated instance of a face eating in Miami 10 years ago

Well I mean that tweet from the FDA was needed anyhow. Lots of people have gotten pretty sick ingesting the horse paste.

"

According to the National Poison Data System (NPDS), which collects information from the nation's 55 poison control centers, there was a 245% jump in reported exposure cases from July to August — from 133 to 459.

Meanwhile, emergency rooms across the country are treating more patients who have taken the drug, after being persuaded by false and misleading information spread on the internet, by talk show hosts and by political leaders. Most patients are overdosing on a version of the drug that is formulated to treat parasites in cows and horses."

I'd post some charts but we all know how well that'd go over with you.

Well maybe if CVS and Walgreens would fill prescriptions from DOCTORS to their patients instead of refusing to do so, people wouldn't be desperate enough to do this.

Except I'm not anti-vax.  I'm pro-choice and pro-treatment options.

People like you support Covid spreading by suppressing treatment options.

Oh. Still, if you're taking significant amounts of ivermectin you are always pooping. I suppose you are right, it doesn't matter if you're anti-vax or not.

How can I be pooping if I'm not taking it?  I do, however, support free choice for physicians to prescribe Ivermectin for treatment of Covid and patients to have these scripts filled and not have pharmacies unilaterally overrule doctors in this regard.

I was just commenting on wgb's chart. I don't know why you'd be all huffy about it to me if you aren't taking it.
