Where do you see as potential destinations for Tobias? I honestly can't find a spot

The problem with tobias is his contract has two years left on it and not one. If he had one he’s much easier to move in the offseason as it’s expiring contract. Even at the deadline it’s easier cause he has less than a season and a half and the team acquiring him that offseason could use him as an expiring contract.

his last 3 playoff games was a revert to exactly what the issue has been with tobias for his tenure here. He disappears and fades away as the games get bigger. Frankly i think the sixers likely have to dump him off on a team like Orlando or Okc who’s willing to take him and some sort of assets so the sixers can clear the cap space.

If we are talking about a team in terms of fit (where money/cap isn’t an issue and just teams i think would consider it).  i think team like Portland depending if they strike out on bigger fish. If they miss our i think they’d pivot to someone like him. I think the pacers depending on how they feel about buddy hield. I know they love Duarte and Duarte is a cheaper younger more upside defensively version of hield. Would have brogdon, haliburton, Duarte, Harris and turner as your starters. I think a team like Detroit might welcome his leadership and experience for 2 years to help that team grow. But really it’s pretty limited in and some of these are a stretch but i at least could see it.

On the Lavine front, his agent/agency is rich Paul and klutch. So not sure how that works out with the whole Ben Simmons fiasco that just went on here. Then back last offseason with the BS put out there with maxey and Philly from klutch.

From a professional standpoint, one should have nothing to do with the other.

You’d like to think that. But then the whole maxey is going to leave  Philly story came out and it was largely attributed to klutch leaking it during the whole summer of ben situation. I’d hope it wouldn’t but Klutch also pulled what they did with Simmons so

Then should Sixers be worried Embiid's old agent now runs the Knicks?

I’d be more worried about him going to the Knicks if he wasn’t turning 29 next year and only having a few years left to win a title. The Knicks aren’t close enough and still going to be hard to pull in 2 stars to do it. I think if teams that already have a star in place where he can go and be a top contender without having to convince anyone else to follow him. Interesting one could be the mavericks in a year from now. Luka and embiid together would be dangerous

Athletes aren't going to put up with being used by their agents to benefit another client. Not for long anyway.  It's unethical and if was happening they'd find another agent.  There's plenty of good ones out there.

Ok. But that doesn’t mean klutch won’t tell him about the things that happened with Ben Simmons on his way out that they felt was wrong by the sixers (wasn’t but their perspective) and how they truly feel about the sixers organization after working with them for years to potentially steer Lavine away from the sixers. He hired klutch as he trusts them and what they’ve done. So when they go into why they believe he shouldn’t go to the sixers organization he likely is going to trust as they’ve dealt with the sixers on a long term basis before and he hasn’t. Zach Lavine is gonna get paid regardless of where he goes. So if they talk to him and tell him this isn’t an ideal place you want to go because of these things we’ve dealt within the past. it’s going to sway him to choose somewhere else. And he still will get get paid and land in a place he wants to be

They don’t even have to use other clients to benefit Lavine. They can tell them about everything the company itself has had to deal with the sixers organization for years now. The end of Ben Simmons saga isn’t just about Ben Simmons relationship with sixers. (That grievance is also going into the offseason. I’m guessing not working in the sixers favor when dealing with klutch and clients.) it’s also  the relationship with klutch, the sixers and how klutch views the sixers organization being good or bad for their clients long term careers after everything. I’m guessing the endorsement from klutch on the sixers organization and dealing with morey isn’t going to be flattering at the moment to their clients.

Maxey loves it here so I’d try to use that as my advantage if klutch goes in that direction if i were the sixers.

Eh. By burning bridges Clutch would be doing every one of their clients a disservice. It doesn't (shouldn't) work that way.  With the exception of benchmarks, every transaction is supposed to be treated seperately.

Doesn’t and shouldn’t are two different things. They definitely shouldn’t do it. However if they leaked crap out about maxey being here during the Ben Simmons situation then they are likely going to not speak very highly of going to the sixers/morey with other multiple options on the table for Lavine.

If klutch really cared about what they should and shouldn’t do then the Ben Simmons situation wouldn’t have played out the way it did. Some of the stuff during this was complete Bs on their part. Heck they told Ben one thing about getting his money and they turned out to be wrong on it.

let’s also just point out Nerlens Noel is currently suing Rich Paul. Part of that is the Sixers reached out to klutch and Paul didn’t respond and it cost him money. Yet Lavine is still with klutch and if klutch did that then, told maxey to cancel charity events in Philly and wanted him to be part of a Simmons trade, what makes you think after this Simmons situation it’s going to be better with klutch and their client and telling them Philly is a great organization and the place to be?

Yes what you are saying shouldn’t happen. What klutch has shown you time and again with the sixers that it "doesnt happen like” that isn’t true. Tbh i think klutch is pretty shady.

I can understand the confusion though. Both teams that aren’t winning a title anytime soon due to poor roster construction.

Phillies have a better roster.  But they both have veteran HC/Managers that are living off of their past accomplishments and think they are better that what they actually are.

The roster is far too power hitter heavy with little regard for pitching, especially the bullpen.

Bullpen!?     Really.  Hmm.  Never thought of that.

I think it’s gotta be beal as the big star. Makes the most sense and embiid wants him. I believe beal and him are good friends too. I wonder with a Washington trade what else Washington would be willing to include for bench purposes.

I know, shocking.

I believe the 6ers will obtain another star next year. I dont know if its in place of Harden, or if he actually takes 18-19M less per year to allow them to sign another max.

If he stays, and the most likely star to add is Beal, can we actually run a 3 guard lineup?

If it's Beal, no.

I dont know how this guy plans to end up with this roster, but toughness is certainly added.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'Twitter insidercory Cory with the Ball. The 2022-23 76ers roster will look like: James Harden Tyrese Maxey Mikal Bridges Jae Crowder Joel Embiid Pat Beverley A developed Jaden Springer/Isaiah Joe Shake Milton Pj Tucker Paul Reed'

I’d say no. Neither Beal nor Maxey can really play the wing. Neither has the size. That’s why, if Harden stays, Lavine would be the best fit to add another star.
