With Reid, I think we would have that long term backup. 

And Vanderbilt is a useful wing. He is a switchable defender. Perfect for throwing at Tatum, he and Harris, maybe a little Tucker....

You might actually want to start vanderbilt... floor spacing takes a bit of a hit. Team speed can increase dramatically with he and Melton running the floor for some Harden outlet passes.

I think it absolutely sucks that we traded Skylar Mays, but the Blue Coats have just traded for Jalil Okafor.

And... maybe he ends up playing for the 6ers again at some point soon.

6ers have liked traditional bigs playing behind Embiid. Howard, Drummond, McGee...

another blown lead yesterday.   plus/minus with embiid on the bench was brutal. expect a trade for a backup big this week. 

Really hope it's Reid and/or Vanderbilt, and not Noel.

Vanderbilt and Reid drastically improved defense and even spacing on that bench unit.

Yeah... but I wouldn't be mad because he's had years and opportunities here and never showed consistency. 

Joe never showed consistency here but had far less opportunity. Extending Kork was bad. Joe should have gotten those opportunities Kork had after his 2nd contract.

I haven't looked at all the contracts involved yet which I would have to do to form an opinion but I'd be kind of surprised if they did something that big.  I saw a report from SI that Reid isn't getting moved.  It could just be posturing.

True I haven't looked at the contracts either. 

I wasn't expecting anything that big either. 

It was Marc Stein, not SI, that said it looks like Reid won't get traded.  He said it on the #thisleague uncut podcast.
