40% from 3

Joe is the total opposite, all 3 pointers.

I think that 40 tonight is good. Season is 21%. If you could get Thybulle to be a 34-37% three point shooter he’s a nice bench guy to have. I think that’s realistically his best role in the nba.

Joe is likely never going to be a good defender. But even in college he could shoot the ball. For where they got him in the draft if he gives you another solid bench guy that’s great value. If Arkansas was able to get into the tournament I actually think Joe might’ve had a chance to have his stock rise because he’s the type of guy out of conference in a tournament setting if he gets hot with his shooting he can pull off an upset and I think would bump his stock up.

As usual his triple doubles come with barely hitting double digit points.

Shake should be in consideration. He’s playing great. If he gets his 3 point percentage up he can be even better.

ben didn't / doesn't need to do too much on this squad or this game.  enjoy it.  he's a walking triple double again with the guys around him this year...  can't wait until curry is back and the squad gets rolling on all cylinders again.

SIXERS WIN! :towel:

I like Joe. I was high on him in the draft. I think hes a better shooter than Korkmaz. Kork is just streaky and many nights ends up being completely ineffective. I think Joe is going to be a more consistent threat.

He was great value where they got him. He shouldn’t have been there. I’m of the firm belief if Arkansas made the ncaa tourney in 2020 he’s a kid that could get hot for a weekend and shine and improve his stock. Not getting that potential chance definitely hurt him.

It sure did. He apparently shot a lower 3 percentage this year compared to the previous year, due to some injury.

He appears to have regained form. Or else, hes only going to get better yet.

Here are 3 observations from tonight's win. I missed most of the game, but It mentions Joe actually had impressive D tonight

could be said about maxey too.  sixers did real well in the draft finding talent.

I believe if i remember correctly it dropped from 41 to 34 percent. He had a knee injury that ended his season in i want to say late January. He really should’ve left after his freshman year. He probably would’ve went higher with how he shot and being just 19. It really worked in the sixers favor. He really needs to just get better on the defensive end of the floor. He’s never going to be a good or elite defend. But i think he could at least be competent.

So ummm....no more Harden?  Jesus the Nets are going to be trouble.........

I’ll believe it when I see it. That’s one of the most combustible rosters I’ve seen I quite sometime. They also have little depth and no front court to speak of.

I don't understand what they're doing.  They had such a nice young playoff team before Durant.  They should have just seen how much further Durant could have taken them.

I think quite possibly all the way.

They've added 3 stars.  And these guys are not the personalities of Bosh, Wade, and LeBron who were all unselfish for each other.  That's the big piece of the blueprint some teams have forgotten about.  It's not just getting 3 stars. It's matching the right personalities so the stars play well together.

Well Kyrie has literally disappeared from the team for a week with no explanation.  It's either gonna be fun basketball to watch or beautiful disaster of personality clashes.  Regardless they coughed up all their depth and Jarrett Allen was their only front court player worth a damn.  I'm assuming their thinking is they're just gonna outscore everybody (which is possible with those 3).  We'll see come playoff time.

Pacers have a really good roster that I think can contend and can't wait to see them play the Sixers on the 31st.

Sabonis
Turner
Levert
Brogden (who is killing it)
Holiday

Warren, Lamb off the bench

But we have Shake so... Sixers win

shake has turned into an absolute steal in the 2nd round...developing even more than i ever expected him to. we suddenly have a few guards who can score.

The covid issue really opened up some minutes for the young guys to get some serious run.  Liking what I see so far from Maxey and Joe.  If Joe can add some beef he could become a nice 3&D player down the road.  Needs to get on the Shake Milton diet.

Shake plays so under control, it's unreal. His game reminds me of jrue holiday in that fashion.

And his contract is an absolute steal. 2 more years left.

Maxey needs strength as well in the lower body and core, but it will come. You can see it when he shoots from distance his has to almost kicks his feet forward to generate power. Like young Steph use to shoot

I actually think the nets would’ve been fine if they just had James Harden and Kevin Durant and not kyrie. I think those two can play with each other. They did it in Oklahoma City. The problem is is you’re stuck with Kyrie Irving. The guy is a selfish a-hole every place he’s played. The fact is you can’t just trade him because no one‘s gonna give you anything of any value for a guy who perpetually gets hurt and is a headache. If I were the nets and if I could get a bunch of role players just for Kyrie Irving I would do it. I think Harden and Durrant if you got capable role players around them are good enough to win the east.
