From an on court perspective, it makes sense. But not sure we need to trade one head case for another -- Kyrie is even more wackadoodle than Ben. Also, Kyrie being unvaccinated could be a real problem for games in NY and CA.

He may not retire but I'd expect a lot of missed games for " personal" reasons

I would derive more enjoyment from letting Simmons rot for a full year (or his entire contract) than from getting marginal return that still leaves the 76ers short of being true contenders.

agreed. maxey is a scoring guard more than a pure pg who can initiate the offense & find the open man.  they'll be running out a small backcourt with maxey & seth too...could get them killed on the defensive end.
