I live in Pats territory but would never wear another teams' stuff unless I lost a bet. Yeah if we were out I'd root for another team, unless it was da boyz. Would most likely just want a good game. I do the same w/ college

He's having himself one hell of a play off run isn't he! Wow wow wow he's running hard, he's elusive and yeah he's making a difference when he's in the game.

We have alot of young promising players(thanks Howie and the scout team) Blankenship looks like a keeper to me. Undrafted and learning on the job. Boston Scott was noone in particular, but we found him and he worked his butt off to make this team. Dickerson was a C,but we saw he could be a great guard. Do I need to mention Mailata at all? I was ready to get rid of him, they have more patience than I do and I am thrilled to be wrong on this one. Davis, young and exciting and he WILL be heard from in time. We picked up guys like Sermon. I have no idea what he looks like in practices, but he was "adequate" at OSU,so maybe there is something there we don't know. Maybe he gets cut,we shall see. But I love how this team operates. I was always concerned they we lacked the coaching to bring players along. That has gotten much better. I hope that and Howies great drafts and off season deals continues. It's so hard to find that combination of players and coaches to get you to the finals in any sport. We found that combination. Now you try to hang on to as many as possible. We will lose some talent in the off season and hopefully replace those with good players. Nice to know Gannon and his staff will be back. He brought Blankenshiip along fast enough that he could fill in.That speaks volumes. I love our RBBC,any one of the 3 can turn up the heat in any given game. Much nicer than having a "Henry".If you shut Henry down, you shut off the entire running game because there is noone else. Having to game plan for 3 good RB's is harder than planning to shut down ONE. We blotted out Dalvin Cook as well and he is no slouch. Love the element Gains brings in,if a team shuts off Sanders, NP we will hit you with the other 2 LOL. KC is totally beatable. They are NOT going to be able to shut Hurts off, they just don't have the guys. Our D is much better. I'm looking forward to hoisting the Lombardi AGAIN!!!

This was the matchup i'd hoped for. Not because i think the Chiefs are easier to beat but because this should be a fun SB to watch.

Which will make the win even sweeter.

If Purdy hadn't gotten hurt I think they would have given us a run. I think they were the best team we will face. I feel KC is not as good at the 9ers AT FULL strength. It's tough when you lose ALL your QB's. The team deflates. How would we have felt if we had to play Ian Book yesterday? Still,we put up 31 on maybe the best defense in the league besides our own. Looking forward to sending Andy home empty handed

They just showed a pic of Kelces' mom wearing a jersey with the center KC, sides and sleeves Eagles

LOL she has to root for both teams

IMO the 9ers D is/was better than KC. Should be alot easier to run on them and I just don't see them controlling Hurts. He should cut them up on the ground and in the air. I love Siri's aggressive play calls going for it on 4th downs. He has faith those will be converted. Great coach, still learning too,he will just get better.Once again a fabulous call by our FO (and I bashed them plenty before)

Same,I won't buy a Dullaz one,I would buy the other teams. Sad I moved, because we had a running bet in FL. This would be the year I could finally get him(Dullaz fan) to wear an Eagles jersey. I should have stayed in FL just for that HAHA

I hope Mahomes is 100% because when we kick their arse (and we will) I want no excuses. Cincy nearly pulled off the trifecta except for one players STUPID mistake. Our defense took out TWO of the 9ers QB's. "Hands up,don't pass" 😁

Wonder how healthy their WR's will be? Have 2 wks to disect everything. Don't think they'll be able to handle our pass rush and our OL will be better at handling theirs. Hurts needs to be better than he was last night, which I think he will as it's all out time. May have held back a bit yesterday. If he does, should be able to carve up their secondary.

All that plus our running game

Agreed with everything you've said. We have hit on a lot of gems and that's kudos to Howie and the scouts.

The key for Howie now is continuing to make good moves. He doesn't have to hit on every move but he needs to continue to restock this roster. When we won the SB 5 years ago he was too sentimental and he didn't make enough difficult decisions. This time around if we want to be one of the dominant teams over the next few years we need to make good smart moves.

You bet. Not many picks this time around, lets see if he uses them or trades back. We are really good at finding UDFA's. We have 2- 7 picks, which we can use on BU's(ones with promise that maybe aren't there yet). I'm glad we are set at WR although it's possible we can still add better BU's. Luckily we haven't had to go there

IDK that Hurts is still injured. He wasn't good yesterday. We could easily beat them(SF) up because they had no QB,so no need for Hurts to throw much. We were never behind. He will, however, have to up his passing game vs KC. Mahomes relies alot on moving around in the pocket much as Hurts does. I feel Mahomes injury if not healed would present a bigger problem. If he is a statue, we will destroy him all game

I'm anxious to see what Dean brings next year .He should be ready to roll by then. I had him ranked really high before he got hurt. Could turn out to be the draft steal of that draft.

I have my mock, only did the 4,but I will start seeking out some round 7 guys. Of course we could use those in a SMALL move up if Howie needs to do it. But I always try to find those DITRS. Not good at defense, but I can find RB's and WR's pretty well. "Round 7 guys don't matter" Well Purdy did pretty well I'd say. IDK if Book can move into the #2 QB spot. Don't know much about him,but we could find a round 7 #3 QB probably fairly easy. If Hurts had not been successful,I would take my boy Hendon Hooker in round 2. Going to be hard for him as sometimes players never get it all back, but if he does,he will be a fine NFL QB. Any team with a QB contract due next year should take a look. Depending how you rank them,I still have edge as pick 1-Tyree Wilson or Miles Murphy. One of those should be there Really like Siaki Ika as another DT to pair with Davis, although despite what others say,we could go RB there.IDK. Round 2- Darnell Wright-ROT from Tennessee(he had to protect Hooker). Round 3 I have a CB. I have DJ Turner there, but there are a slew of CB choices at 94. He made the OSU WR's irrelevant in the Michigan game and that's good enough for me. Alot can change, but it's fun for me anyway. Right now I will kick back and plan to head out somewhere for the SB game.Let the trash talk begin

2 weeks to get healthy and 2 weeks for Hurts to get his act together. He really did not look good, Chris Jones is a beast.

Was trying to stress how huge recovery time is. Survived Niners…now get the extra week again. So crucial.

I'm sure AR knows how good our OL is and how well Hurts deals w/ blitzes. Going to be interesting

Does AR get key insider info from Pedey? Think it’s likely.

Great explanation of how we beat the 9er's D. Kudos to the adjustments.

https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2023/1/30/23577780/eagles-video-breakdown-run-game-jalen-hurts-49ers-super-bowl

Not real hard to beat a team with no QB LOL. The writers will write, but facts are facts. There was no threat there after Purdy got hurt. Even when he returned he could not throw. Johnson was their QB4 which most teams don't even have. How well would we have done if they had Purdy and we had to play ian Book? With no QB threat, easy to stack the box and cover any short passes

Didn't have anything to do w/ their O, was talking how we beat their D and put 31 pts on them

When you have no O, the D gets deflated/demoralized and GASSED because they are on the field all day.The O line did a nice job on Bosa overall. not stopping him completely, but they did fine. Nice to see Siri adjusted anyway because he will need that in the SB. AR will hit us with all kinds of looks

9ers' D fought hard. Not going to argue, just relayed the article, didn't write it

I think the super bowl revolves around one thing.......containing mahomes.  He can throw from anywhere, he can improvise, he can find the open man, he can hit anybody, anywhere on the field.

His receivers are average, except for Kelce who is the best TE in football, but they don't need to be anything more with Mahomes arm.

The defensive line needs one more monster game.  Contain mahomes, hit him as much as possible, sacks, pressures.  In my opinion, he is the hardest QB ever to defend against.

The Eagles are going to score alot, but containing Mahomes is the key to winning this game.

The eagles need to dominate on the ground,....control the ball, keep mahomes on the bench as much as possible.

You think the old Washburn Mush Rush should be the plan? Contain him in the pocket while collapsing it in lanes.
