Best thing I've ever heard about Hurts is that he doesn't allow cameras in his workouts and turned down interviews about it.

I can't stand the athletes who do the workout social media posts with clever hashtags.  Just let your play do the talking.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Why not let Stoutland do what he thinks is best?  Has he proven to be a bum, or a very good to great OL coach?

I get it, he know his stuff, but you don't think switching every couple reps is bad for continuity ??

He is partially correct: https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshuacohen/2021/07/22/among-fully-vaccinated-breakthrough-covid-19-infections-are-more-common-than-previously-thought-does-it-matter/?sh=6611240e5aef

Vaccinated people spread it even when they don't have symptoms. But a lot of data came from the Dutch.

Ill take the CDC updates from the 27th over what an article from the 22nd in Forbes says.

The data that vaccinated people can still spread covid isn't an excuse to not get vaccinated as this article and the CDC points out

I can rip the CDC up and down. As the WHO. but I thought you could figure out common sense.

they have no concrete facts that vaccinated spread more or less then unvaccinated.

Now that over 50% of the country has at least one dose. common sense tells you that the mass population is more likely to spread it.

OK, I'll break it down for you like i would to my 6 year old since your having a ton off issues comprehended a lot of things today.

If 8 people dropped a dollar and 2 people dropped a 50 dollar bill, which are you more likely to find.

Give it a rest, camp is open, discuss football.

@Utebird do not engage so we can be done with this nonsense.

If 200 people are present, 125 are vaccinated and you found 8 dollar bills and 2 50 dollar bills... were those who dropped the bills vaccinated or unvaccinated?

Answer:  You don't know.

Moving on now.

Another surprise.  I never liked the Davion Taylor pick.  If he comes in a different player and actually plays meaningful, good snaps at LB that would be tremendous.

I already stated my wife is a mental health professional about 3 pages ago yesterday so keep up!

Never said every issue is a mental health issue o my that when one like biles claims she needs to take a break due to her mental health why should we doubt it or villify her decision to prioritize her mental well being???

If you were at work as a medical doctor and you had a heart attack would it be selfish of you to tap out of a surgery to take care of your own medical needs Instead if your patients?

If my wife were in session and felt the need to end the session with her client due to a me talk health episode I would assume that it was a pretty serious deal, as serious as a heart attack

That's the problem is too many look at mental health as not a big deal partly because if the stigmas behind it especially in sport and partly because it's not immediately visibly verifiable.

When one breaks a leg no one questions it, the keg is broken the person can't walk maybe the keg is bent or a bone is picking out, mental health isn't visible to the naked eye not to mention it can be more accumulative than sudden.

We don't know all of what led up to the moment biles said she was done, we can speculate which is fine and when we minimize it vilify it disparage it all we are doing is reinforcing negative stigmas associated with mental health which does not one any good.

But "stress" is not as serious as a heart attack.  Not even close.

That is a different issue. Of course people should get vaccinated. It keeps you out of the morgue. But vaccinated people do spread this new variant at a pretty high rate. That's why the CDC wants us to mask up.

I think he has a plan.  So, I will enable him to put his plan into practice without questioning it.  Besides, the presumed LG is out... so there is already a lack of continuity.  And maybe after last year, his goal is to get the full squad of OL to gel more so that when the inevitable injuries happen, there will be less unfamiliarity with the backups.   Point is:  I trust Stoutland.

I've smoked a few briskets in my time, but I'm not about to tell Aaron Franklin he's doing it wrong.

ZERO CHANCE Mailata wins this position battle. ZERO.

Howie wont admit he screwed up that bad.

On the other hand, if Mailata wins the LT then Howie can say look I found a starting LT in the 7th round.

If both of them end up being solid starters, our defense is looking much better.

If you watch the O-line "highlights" from last year pay attention to Seumalo.  He makes some strong plays but when he looks bad...he looks BAD. Like walking in circles bad.  There are plays where he gets straight up abused.  Mailata's worst plays of the year don't come close to how bad Seumalo looked at times.  He's 100% replaceable by Herbig/Dickerson.  I'm not worried about him being out.  I think it opens the door.

LOL cause your a clown. we're on a sports forum. talking sports and eagles. no one cares what your wife does. no one cares what you say or think either.

Now if you want to have a debate(which is why we're were) we can have it.

She quit on her team and quasi quit on her country because of stress. But she stuck around to do press conferences and maybe do individual styuff. Thats not a mental issue that's a lack of confidence.  The yips. and again, if her life is SOOO bad and stressful. Retire. I have ZERO tolerance for a professional athlete making millions, playing a game to have metnal issues. they can literally quit whenever they want and be set for live.

So you care because I'm a clown?

Are you her psychologist or a trained psychologist?

If you are her psychologist you would know biles has confidentiality rights and her therapist isn't allowed to share with the public what they talked about unless biles says so.

If you are a trained psychologist but not biles psychologist you would know it's unethical to diagnose someone who you haven't met with.

So either you are an unethical psychologist or you have no more I formation than the rest of us non psychologist in her mental state before during and after

Nor are you the authority on what she should or shouldn't do seeing as you aren't aware of her circumstances or history other than what you hear or see on t.v.

I have zero tolerance for old dudes on the Internet Ignorantly contributing to negative mental health stigmas.

Also last I checked this isn't a sports forum for talking all sports, this is an eagles forum designed specifically for talking about eagles football.

Agree.  What do we consider solid starters though?  Guys who don't make mistakes on the field or guys who are out there making plays that effect the game?  I think Singleton last year came in and proved to be a solid starter.  He made lots of tackles and made an occasional play that stood out.

Either the bleeding green nation live twitter feed isn't working properly or these beats are being very quiet/inactive this camp.  Not a lot of reporting going on.

I think this season will tell us whether Howie really is a bad judge of players, or a horrible judge of coaches.  I think ultimately it may be a little of column A sprinkled with some column B, but Pederson seems to have done nothing with any draft pick that wasn't already starting talent or immediately handed to Jeff Stoutland, so it'll be interesting to see if players like Taylor and Wallace have made progress in a few weeks with the new staff.

I would think Mailata counts as that.

Reading these tweets and this is the first time in a while I have no idea who some of these players are
