But Jacquet is starting his second year and Andre C is his third year. Should be seeing signs of development by now with Andre. I just see this as a kick the tires move until Scott is healthy. Frankly, I think there is a better chance Hightower develops than K. Johnson. Just not impressed by anything I have been able to see about him. But I don’t recall seeing the CB or WR play in college. I could be wrong about the outcome of all three. The player that intrigues me is Marvin Wilson. Decades ago my brother in law played in the same league as Wilson did in HS so we heard about him. He was a five star recruit and UH and other Texas schools would have been happy if he stayed home. He looked the part in his first years at Florida State. But he should be less of a slug. Slow off the ball. So was Sweat, which makes me wonder about the training at FSU. Not sure about his conditioning. But he is about to do drills with Rocker, who I think may have the makings of the best DL coach we have had around here in a while. (I also like what I saw of Dennard Wilson, our secondary coach, this summer but I digress). Best player picked up with a chance to progress, as I see it, is Wilson. They are better than their record from last year indicates. I think Jarrett is going to blow up Seumalo again and Pees is known to confuse QB's so Hurts is going to struggle. I don't think their offense is anything better than average, but they will score enough with Ridley, Gage, Pitts to win a lower scoring game. The Falcons are too bad for anyone to truly know that the Eagles can't win. And the Eagles have had too much turnover and too little pre-season participation for anyone to actually expect them to win from a truly knowledgeable perspective. I was hoping that Gainwell would change but looks like he's sticking with 14. Johnson is sticking with 48 and Stevens is sticking with 30 even though 53 and 59 are available.
