I will play if there's an open spot. If @Blazehound wants to play, he may be better at actually paying enough attention so that he sets his lineup more than twice a season.

So we have 12 guys playing this year. I’m gonna change it to a Dynasty league like Schuy suggested. I have to go into the tools to do that. However, we also needed to decide on what date we are drafting. I usually have set it up Labor Day weekend at some point in time. I don’t remember if the time I put in is my time cause I’m in Arizona or if it’s eastern standard time. So when we set it up, everybody make a preference on Eastern standard time. if I put it in and you guys are seeing it two hours later than it should be let me know.

Also, as a heads up, we aren’t using defenses or kickers this year. I made us an extra flex spot. I feel like with the defenses and kickers it was basically if you got the best one you kept it, but everybody else was add drop. I think the extra flex spot is better. It makes you have to actually have a strategy with who you want to use for that spot. And it makes guys more valuable on waivers.

Same here. I've heard about them but never played in one.

I’ll let @schuy7 explain it. I can try but I think he can explain it better than me.

So essentially a keeper league you get to keep a guy each year. Usually one or two maybe sometimes even three players. And a Dynasty league is the roster carries over into next year. Add on you’d do last place gets top pick allows for new draft class and FA at end of the year to be drafted. I’m not against Dynasty, but I would rather just be a keeper league and we get to keep 2-3 guys every year.

I’m more in favor of keeper (1-2 guys) than complete dynasty.

We can do just a standard league instead of dynasty if that's what most people prefer.

Dynasty is the same as any other league except that we wouldn't re-draft every year. We would keep our rosters going into 2027 and onward. It's fun because you can build for the future or play for the current season, or somewhere in between. Just like real life NFL teams.

But if we want to do just a regular league with a new draft before every season, I'm good with that too.

The only keepers I like are ones who are on your roster at the end of the year who wasn't drafted by anyone at the start of the year.

I am fine doing it either way. But it sounds like redraft is the way people want to go. However, we should do something if you come in last place in this league with the message board.

I prefer standard, if possible. That seems like the easiest format for most, especially a league like this one.

I am mostly flexible Labor day weekend with the exception of 9/5.

Agree. I’d rather 1-2 keeper than dynasty. Losing the draft takes out fun out of FF but I’ll go with whatever the majority wishes. Labor Day is fine for me

Mine says 5 pm Eastern time which is the time I can do. I can't do earlier than 4pm
