The pick, yes, but it’s not like his play early on blew you away.  Wentz on the field week 1 as a rookie just gave you that feeling.

He went 8 for 71 and a TD week 1 against ATL.

If we’re going for the future, I’m all in on trying to get Faalele tomorrow.

It makes no sense to say Smith was "OK” and then to perpetually rip Hurts every day in the Blog. Smith had a productive year in a run-first offense with a QB that many in here call a RB.

It’s trying to talk out of both sides of his mouth.

Yeah, it's not worth debating either.

Howie...

It was between Jurgens and Dean in the second round.

No surgery scheduled for Dean.

Dean will be on field at rookie training camp, no surgery. Very good news

That means Howie was going to reach either way!

You’re right about that.

Howie...

We don't anticipate Dean missing time.

Sounds like Dean is going to hit the ground running. Howie says he contacted the doctors several times and they said there were no major issues to be aware of.

We literally got immediate production last year, and you have to put a negative spin on it. It’s wierd

Smith Ffrst three weeks, 11 catches for 103 yards and a TD.  That is 4 for 34.

Chase had 200 yards and 4 TD’s his first 3 weeks.

Jefferson had 240 yards his first 3 weeks.

You need to stop accepting such a low bar.

I love what the Eagles have done. AJ Brown should be a game changer and Jordan Davis is gonna be a beast once his pass move develops.

One complaint is Nakobe Dean. Too many too’s. Too Small Too Slow Too Weak. He was protected in that Georgia D and was allowed to roam. That won’t happen in the NFL offenses will come after him. Other then that pretty good off season so far.

I disagree on the too slow bit, Dean has outstanding range. The part about taking on blocks is a concern… good we selected the top NT to keep him clean. I’m not going to quibble too much given where we took him.

916 and 5 is immediate production. Stop it.

And then went 5 for 44 the next two weeks.  See my Chase and JJ first 3 weeks post.

This had nothing to do with the QBs?

If you sign Mathieu, figure out CB2, and Hurts plays good enough, this team has to be NFC East favorites. No pressure Jalen.

This is sad, Mike. SAD!

Compared to Chase ?? Oh that’s right, that is more in line with the Bengals 3rd WR Tyler Boyd.

@HazletonEagle’s boy Tee Higgins as the #2 blew our #1 WR’s production away.

Maybe he’s being sarcastic? He criticizes Hurts all the time, but yet WRs are supposed to produce?

One of them has a QB

Hmm. I’m wonder why the Bengals had so much more production from their WRs than the Eagles…

Can anyone help me out?

Nah, that can’t be it.

Not sure why I bother to post this when we don’t pick until round 5…
