I get all the fans are working is me’ing about no db picks, but with the way this organization has been run pretty much since Lurie bought it, I’m very surprised we didn’t take a DE. Barnett a rental, Graham injured, would have been decent with one of those 6’s

Nah, man. I loved Burks but AJ Brown is only 24 and is a proven commodity.  

Well, the trade Davis trade is up for debate. They gave up a lot to get him but, if you have a chance to draft a potential all pro you do it every day.  They really lucked out that with Dean slide down.  Could bring a new attitude to the D

I could see him having a Trey Burton-like impact here (minus the Philly Special, of course).

So you’re saying you love AJ more than his former division winning team ?

Sure I expect great things from Davis but pretty sure about Hamilton too. Surprised Baltimore didn’t jump up there but maybe not

 

As a point of reference...

Last year, the Eagles traded #84 to move up from #12 to #10 and drafted the best player in college football (Heisman).

This year, the Eagles traded three picks basically equivalent to #101 to move up from #15 to #13 and drafted the best defensive player in college football (Bednarik).

Howie should’ve insisted on 101, more palatable. Sure the Ravens declined the trade if they had conditions because I’m sure they were made aware
