He needs to take a big jump and lead a top-10 offense, or he’ll be gone

We were 12th in points and 14th in yards last year. I would say top 5 is more realistic. You can't have a top 5 oline, top 5 running game and top 5 receiving corps and not be a top 5 offense.

Could have took Jobe instead of another TE.

I actually respect the fact they are sticking to their board. The point is to draft players that are good not players just to fill spots so they can replace them later. Jobe is still on the board which tells you a ton about what teams think about him

Yes he is, for those of us who understand sarcasm

Yes that nod of approval from the next most depressing person on the board

So we're just moving the goal post? That's not what we're discussing. That's a whole different thing.

Completely disagree. I thought he's been excellent. The broadcast has been way better today than the last two days.

Certainly more likeable and genuine than Mike Greenberg, but he has killed the flow of this broadcast all day.

I get it.  He looks like he could be a weapon if he can stay healthy.  Huge if though.

We need secondary help more than TE.

More 6th round picks to go with the 6th round picks we have right now though... would it have made a big difference?  Maybe these 6th rounders are better than our current ones... but then again, maybe not.

As for our backup TEs... none of them did much for me going into the draft, I always expected a backup TE to be drafted or a top top priority UDFA.

Oh no the TE we drafted is a fireman?

It's obviously a quality the Eagles look for in draft prospects.

Y’all wanted to trade down from our 5th and you should’ve known this would happen. Zyon was right there. Let’s hope he doesn’t pan out.

Yet he's been passed over 200 times, and by every single team.

The next Tom Brady

I do too. People have been complaining about the front 7 for a while. We addressed it in spades.

For the secondary we have a slew of young guys they want to see compete at CB2, backup slot and S. Gowan and McPhearson battle for CB2, Scott and MacCain battle for backup slot, and move Vincent to S where he belongs. I for one am psyched about Davis, Brown, Dean. Jurgens should be the heir apparent and I think Kyron turns some heads subbing in. There’s also gonna be a nice UDFA class, June cuts, trades. It’s ok to be happy guys.

Our secondary is pretty bare.

im sure a 6th and 7th round talent will solve that problem.

Other than Slay and Maddox, that secondary is putrid. We are going to get torched.

Vincent should play Safety. Zech and Gowan battle for CB2. Loser is first guy off bench. Avonte obviously slot with Scott most likely backing him up.

At UDFA, a safety, a RB, a Punter should be priority.

Gonna be a lot of fun TC competitions in the secondary other than Slay.

Our secondary wasn't horrible last year, and swapping McPhearson for Nelson and Epps for McLeod seems like lateral moves at worst.

If Davis and Dean are legit top-end talents, this defense should be a lot better. And it's not like the season starts in a week. Plenty of time to add free agents or make a trade.

In a nutshell, we turned one first rounder into Davis, another into Brown, and the third into two future picks.

We used our own second and third round picks on quality players.

The only real complaint would be giving up three day-3 picks.  I'm not losing a lot of sleep given the depth of the UDFA pool.

That's fair, Eagles have traditionally done well with UDFA
