It's entirely possible for a person to think the country is headed in the right direction AND Biden is terrible. It's also possible for one to believe Biden is doing a good job and the country is still headed downhill. Basically, the poll is stupid. The idiot who made the poll worded it exactly the same as the polls Trump sends out in his emails begging for donations.
